The Wingate by Wyndham Macon I-75 is a hotel that provides a clean and comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious, nicely set up, and well-lit, with all the necessary amenities including a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot. Guests appreciate the comfortable Tempurpedic mattress and pillows, as well as the plentiful storage space and clever design featuring a bench with drawers. The rooms are equipped with many power outlets, USB ports, reading lights, a huge television, and even a lamp with wireless phone charging. The double shades make the room nice and dark. The staff is consistently described as friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable. Check-in is easy. The hotel is clean throughout, including the rooms, elevator, and hallways. There is a really nice outdoor pool and a good-sized gym. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, pretty good, and pleasantly satisfying with choices. The location is great, just off the highway and near several restaurants. Some minor points are noted, such as a toilet that can be tough to flush, a possible random hotel fee for rewards members, and limited luggage cart availability. However, guests highly recommend the hotel, call it a wonderful stay, and many state they would stay again or that it is their go-to spot in Macon.
