I have been with Banfield for 2 years and my dog has gotten to 110 lb so I found a large breed vet and did not renew at Banfield. I made an appointment for my final visit and they said it for the 31st of January. When I got there on the 31st the tech that made the appointment 20 days earlier said I was no longer covered. Terrible business practice and I would not recommend them

UPDATE: Although I appreciate your reply you have misspelled my name. So I have taken off a star.The original review was through talk to text. I originally gave 4 stars because the doctor was fantastic but the front desk man at late noon was NOT. The doctor was very kind very personable. I took a star off because the recent front desk guy who was currently working on the date this review was made Tuesday, September 19th , 2023 at 4:52 PM was not the nicest when I walked in. From my point of you, I see that we are all in a line to check in, and when we go in a line to check in, we go in order of the line. I was very tired because I got up at 4am , before teaching classes to drive my dog over for a drop off appointment. I am an exhausted middle school and high school teacher, who works 2 other jobs because teachers pay is so low. One man came out and went in front of me and several other people and the guy took him before us. I said “interesting that we are going out of line”. He replied in quite a rude manner “ well, ma’am, we are taking them in as we check in “. I’m like oh OK so we are supposed to check before we arrive and before getting in line? This makes no sense. I’m more upset in the way it was handled. The rest of the people in the line were women, a species of the human race that has since been devalued as people for quite some time . In my mind, he sent the impression that my time and loyalty to Banfield in general was not valued despite my early drop off time. .He did not give a great first impression this location. Listen, it’s an open store you’re right near the registers at the front. It’s just so weird. As long as HE is working here I’ll stick with a different Banfield. The fact that my time and presence was devalued and on top of that , you misspelled my name in your reply just shows me right there that you do not value the women that frequent your business.

The WORST pet hospital. The staff doesn't know anything, they change your dogs vaccine records without telling you which then causes you to have to get a booster for the same vaccine again and you have to pay for it out of pocket due to their mistakes since it's not covered under your plan anymore. Practice manager never calls you back after requesting a call back for over a month. I will not be going to this location again. I also filed a complaint through Banfield directly and they did nothing. If I could leave a 0 star review I would.

Walk ins aren’t accepted, even with insurance. I understand, not excepting walk-ins for something major. However, for something minor, like a quick look consult should be supported.

This review is concerning the personnel at the check-in desk for Banfield - not about the vets. The person at the desk was extremely unhelpful. My husband and I are currently watching over our daughters cat, as our daughter is in the military and deployed. The cat needs special Hills food which requires a prescription. The cat does not travel well and his last visit to Banfield made him very stressed and ill. We needed a new prescription to be able to buy more food for him for a few more months before his next yearly exam. I phoned on a Saturday and spoke with a very nice person that conferred with the vet on duty (as the vet who had seen the cat during his last visit was no longer there causing the issue of getting another vet to sign off ) and they agreed to write a new one and I could pick it up from them. My husband made the trip to Banfield to pick up the prescription and the person at the desk verified all the patient info but insisted that the cat needed to see the vet and denied him the prescription. Now, I have to make another trip to Banfield; explain everything again, just to find out that the person on Saturday had indeed put all this in the patient notes. Guess the person working on Tuesday ignored those notes when the patient info was pulled up during my husbands visit, but clearly saw them when I had to go in again and finally get the prescription. Very poor customer service !!

Super unhelpful.. I clearly have a prescription from another vet and to purchase food in the store. I need them to transfer the prescription over.. they claim they need the actual prescription when I’ve always use the prescription card in the past. This is food my dog needs and can’t eat any other food, and they refuse to transfer the prescription ..

The service is excellent. Veterinarian is great at what she does. The staff are very friendly and responsible. The response time was great. My dog is doing well as of right now. Thank you for listening to me. I am a pharmacy technician and they listened to my opinion about what needed to be done. Much respect.

Banfield has been my fur babies hospital for 13 years, but Roswell is now my go to location. Excellent service and attention with my babies health.

We do not typically go to this location and i recall why. We had a non-drop off appointment for 10:45. They were behind so they asked us to leave our pet. No problem, all four of our animals go to Banfield and we are familiar with drop offs for vaccines. They informed us that they closed at 4 that day. We arrived at 3:10 because we had children to pick up from school at 4:15 and we wanted to make sure we arrived before the office closed. When we arrived, we were told he would not be ready until 4:30 and had not been looked at all since 10:45. We ended up taking our dog home with no vaccines or exams done. An exam that has been completed in less then 30 minutes with all my previous animals. The lady at the front was very rude as well. I would have appreciated a call at least to inform us that my dog, who was in a crate for the last 4 hrs, had not even been seen 45 minutes before the office closed. I had a scheduled appointment. I understand being behind or short staffed but I had a scheduled appointment and I allowed my animal to stay there to allow the office time to catch up and he was not even touched in those four hours. That is ridiculous.

This location can never give you an appointment to meet the vet in case of urgent care or help. It's more of preventive care and grooming center.
