I cannot say enough great things about my experience with NorthStar Mortgage Advisors, especially my incredible Mortgage Loan Officer, Clayton Tyrel. From day one, Clayton went above and beyond to make sure I fully understood every step of the mortgage process. Even when I encountered steps I wasn’t as familiar with, he guided me through each one with confidence, clarity, and care. I truly felt in perfect hands the entire way — and his reassurance was always matched with consistent follow-through and results.
If I could, I’d vote Clayton as one of the best Mortgage Loan Officers in the entire state of Georgia!
A huge shoutout also goes to Katie Gudz, who was a tremendous help throughout my process, and to Aimee Petersen, my amazing Loan Processor. From the moment Aimee joined the process, she was responsive, organized, and proactive, ensuring that everything moved smoothly through underwriting all the way to my clear to close.

When I came to Clayton I wasn’t sure if I would be a homeowner but he turned my vision into a reality! Clayton is very knowledgeable of the industry and has access to so many resources that allowed me to become a first time homeowner. Clayton was patient and kind. He went the extra mile to ensure that I understood our contract and also worked with us on the terms so that they were something we were comfortable with. My Sunday night meltdown before Monday morning closing was only brief thanks to him making himself available to reassure me. I am pleased with the outcome and grateful! Definitely would recommend.
