I think this is a great neighborhood jewelry store so I was surprisingly disappointed by my recent visit.Went in to pick up 2 repairs and noticed that they do “permanent” jewelry. My bracelet, while admittedly not purchased from them, needed rewelded/zapped. The manager said they could do it for $25. What? $25 for a little zap, no materials required - Ridiculous!I literally just paid $150 for two other small repairs (which I thought was steep but did not complain) and he wants to gouge me for less than 5 mins of unskilled labor?

Whenever you need a jewelry repair or to purchase a piece of jewelry I highly recommend David Douglas Jewelers in East Cobb. I had a ring designed by Joseph who did a magnificent job and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

I’m usually very nervous to leave my rings with jewelers. I’ve walked into many jewelers and walked right back out. But this place is much different.I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped inside.And Jen was so very helpful and friendly.My rings were cleaned and resized.The cleaning alone was the best I have ever seen my rings look.And Jen was patient and helped me pick the perfect present for my mom.

I got my engagement ring and then a semi-custom pendant made here; and I'm extremely happy with their craftsmanship and service for both peices. I had been to other jewelers recently that gave me an attitude when I wanted a lab grown diamond. The staff at David Douglas treats everyone who walks in like a valued customer, regardless of how much you're spending. They were very transparent about pricing and never tried to upsell me. I was looking for very specific features in my jewelry;their associate Daniel was always very patient with me and made sure that every little detail was made to my specifications. I'm so glad i found a jeweler that I feel like I can trust.

A great experience in this jewelry store where my son in law bought my daughter’s lovely engagement ring. I only needed a small earring back, but i was treated with the welcome , time and attention as if I was purchasing a 5 kt diamond ring. After hunting unsuccessfully for months, i finally have the proper sized earring back- and it only took a day! Now, if i only could bring home one of those beautiful pieces of jewelry!

Friendly staff. Good value. Resized my wedding ring and my engagement ring. They fit perfect, took the time they said it would, and they look like new. This is where I go for all my jewelry needs.

Love love love David Douglas! Alex, I think that’s his name, designed my engagement ring and it’s absolutely perfect! Every time I go in to have an inspection/cleaning they always make me feel so welcomed and like I am a part of the family. Every person I have spoken to was so personable and friendly. Can’t say enough good things about David Douglas. Definitely go to them, especially Alex.
