TLDR. Terrible shop. Trusted them with pre-purchase inspection, they said the truck was fine, check engine light came on a few days later for $1,500 repair, oil was dirty and nothing was found wrong by this shop.Terrible shop. I made the mistake of trusting this shop for a pre-purchase inspection for a Chevy Silverado 2500HD. When I picked up the truck, they said it was good to purchase with no problems, so we purchased the truck. Not even 2 days later, it had a check engine light on. We had another shop check it and he noticed right away that the check engine codes were cleared by the dealer. The oil was very dirty. None of which was called out by Drivers Automotive. Drivers automotive wanted to charge us another $125 to diagnose the issue after we paid $150 for an inspection they did not perform. Drivers automotive said the issue was a fuel injector and quoted us $1,500 to do the repair - all because of their ignorance and incompetence. The lady at the front desk took 2 business days to even send us the quote. It was the holidays but she shouldn’t say she would send it by end of day if she isn’t going to do so. My entire family used to take all my cars here since 2014. Unfortunately, we will not be returning here. We miss the days when Alben was here.

I came here on two separate occasions to have my car serviced: once for brake rotors and more recently to have my spark plugs replaced. Both times I was satisfied with the service. Also, Porsche at the front desk was more than kind while I waited patiently in the waiting room. Should I ever need my vehicle serviced I’ll be sure to return.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

This company saved my life. My Toyota needed fixing really bad. The engine was failing. I went to the Toyota dealership and they were going to charge me over 7,000 to fix it. My best friend told me about Drivers Automotive. I took my vehicle here and they charged me waaaay less than the dealership. It was affordable for me. Side note I’m a school teacher. I couldn’t afford what the dealership was charging me. Drivers Automotive is THE BEST!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Drivers automotive is by far the best automotive company to have anything done. I have had an 2 different cars engine installed and they kept me informed from A-to-Z! You can trust if they’re gonna do it right the first time in a timely manner. They have done numerous of other auto issues that I’ve had such as air conditioner, tires, brakes, ETC If you could name it they can do it I only trust them to do my oil changes and maintenance upkeep I highly recommend them. Thanks Porsha for helping me from the beginning and making every time I come a smooth transition! Your crew is the best!!!

My mother and take our cars here and receive the best customer service.Porshae is a sweetheart and definitely knows her stuff. She once allowed me to drop my car off early for a repair and took me to work. If you need work on your car done….. I recommend this place!!

Porshae took care of everything and answered every question I had! she was great! Pablo did the work on my car really good my car wasn't even running when I got it to them but now it's running and it's so much smoother! I definitely recommend this business they are great and have great customer service! I will definitely be coming here again if anything happens with my car!!!Services: Tire rotations

I cannot recommend this place enough! All of the staff are great but Porshae is hands down the sweetest person. I brought my car in for multiple issues and every one of those were handled with not only great care but also with the kindest of understanding. Any and all questions I asked were met with informative answers along with reassurance. They’ve been so great for both myself and my husband as his car needed some repairs recently too. Disgusting excuse of an establishment. If Porchea is the face of this business then it’s all you need to know to run from it. They took my car for so many “test drives” to “run errands for parts” without MY CONSENT. The fuel was completely full when dropped off and you can see how much gas was used without a reimbursement or them refilling my tank.I went out to my car to ask her why the fuse cover was missing when it was placed before it was delivered to this establishment. She had excuse after excuse. I then ask why there’s GLOBS OF DIRT all over my passenger seat (pictured below). This is after I wiped it and took a large chunk off too…Again - zero accountability and excuses. Really? That’s how you treat your customers? She said “that’s how we found it” and proceeded to SNATCH MY KEYS FROM MY HANDS (the owner of said vehicle and a customer paying her bills). She then proceeds to ignore us standing there for 40 minutes and take a call with another customer when we just wanted to pay and leave. Honestly, disgusting service. She should be ashamed of how she carried herself. There are sooo many reputable mechanics - do not make the mistake of giving this one your business.

Was referred to this place by the oil change shop I frequent near the Battery. I went a couple months ago off the reviews I'd seen here, though they are all from many years ago. My experience was frustrating and drawn out to say the least. 1st visit - problem: my VW's headlight was out and I'd been told by past mechanics that the module or multiple modules needed to be replaced (I couldn't afford to fix at the time but this time I could). Also, the check engine light was on and I'd been seeing the "check engine oil pressure" light flash multiple times. They held onto my car for a couple days to figure out the issues which was my first red flag (over the phone they told me it would be diagnosed and fixed same day). They finally told me there was an oil leak and they had to replace the oil separator and pressure switch. Thanks so much, but I asked you to look at my headlight too...do you know they ended up keeping my car another 3 days to figure this out?! They finally invoice me for a new headlamp and I just knew this would not be the proper fix but I made sure to ask them if they were sure. They were sure and said it was NOT the module. I then get to the shop to pick up my car and upon walking in they tell me, as I am standing there to pay, that it was actually the ballast which was more expensive. To be honest, the last minute discovery wasn't my issue, the lack of communication throughout the almost week of them having my car was the issue. I constantly had to call and text to get updates. Nevertheless, got it fixed and all was well or so I thought. 2nd visit - problem: headlight worked for a couple days maybe and it wasn't until I parked in front of a glass door that I saw the same headlight was out. My car also had a slow start so I took it back to the shop. The slow start was the battery and it took them 2 days to fix that smh. This time, they kept my car for even longer and instead of playing that game, I asked to take it back while they figured out the invoice for the headlight and once they did, planned to return my car to them to fix. I chased this woman down for the invoice, literally every day for almost a week. Finally, they told me that two modules needed to be replaced and that I had water seeping into the headlight which damaged the ballast but that part was under warranty. (Didn't I mention modules before? Yes, but they told me confidently I was wrong.) Also, how do I know they didn't cause the water damage in their reassemble the last time? They were charging an additional $2000 to fix when I spent nearly $1000 on the original repairs for this headlight. Though expensive, again the cost isn't the issue for me, it's the lack of expertise to find this problem the first time and then not acknowledging their responsibility in neglecting to fix all the lights in the headlight (they only fixed the one light not the multiple lights that make up the assembly). Remember the first issue? My car is now experiencing the exact same problems not even 2 months later. I feel like I wasted $3300 to fix all these problems that never were really fixed.They claim to give the best options price wise but I've already had my car seen by VW experts (not dealership) who have recommended a better alternative for the headlight (cheaper too) and found the issue in a shorter timeframe. I also did not ever have to wonder what was going on with my car or what the latest updates were as they called me with that information before I could think it.Overall, I believe that the mechanics did their best but ended up costing me an uneasy, frustrating and drawn out experience due to their lack of expertise with my vehicle. If you have a European car, I wouldn't recommend this shop but if not, I'm sure your experience could be much better than mine. Porshae is very nice, but unable to juggle all the shop's clients efficiently.

Excellent quick service and made sure I was taken care of as soon as they were able. My belt was about to go on my car outa nowhere and I was scared to death I wouldn't have a vehicle to drive and they made sure I was able to get home safe. These guys are great!! Very friendly, not pushy and they know their stuff. They have great turn around time to get you in and out and on your way! The ONLY negative is sometimes it’s difficult trying to turn left out of their parking area.
