Today it’s very hard to have a relationship with a personal banker, but that’s what I have with my local Ameris Bank branch. Everyone there greets me by my name and always has a smile for me. If I have any issues with my banking, branch manager Harry Schnabel is always there to assist me. He makes me feel like I am the most important customer of the bank. I wouldn’t bank anywhere else!

The employees dont seem happy to be there. Rather the head banker. Her disposition is dry bland and doesn’t leave one with the desire to bank there. The tellers are friendly

Not crazy about the bank itself, because when Ameris took over Fidelity, they incorrectly set up my accounts as business - I’ve never been able to change that. Unfortunately, business accounts have more limitations than personal. Regardless, Margie Nudo at the Johnson Ferry branch is the very best! If it wasn’t for her, I’d have been gone long ago. I don’t have to worry about calling the 1-800 number and giving my blood type and everything else just for a quick question. Margie knows me and she knows my voice; she’s always incredibly helpful and ALWAYS does everything correctly and accurately. Thank you, Margie! I hope you never retire……
And as an update, I just got a “courtesy” call from April at the Johnson Ferry branch. The insurance company messed up a check to me and she just wanted to let me know. These people are awesome. If you’re anywhere near this branch and you’re looking for the old-time small bank experience from 20-30years ago, I highly recommend them.

Everyone I've come into contact with from the branch manager to Tyra, and others at this conveniently located branch, has been friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and willing and able to get things accomplished in a timely complete manner.
