A few months ago, I was referred to having Gary as my buyer’s agent, and it was one of the luckiest days of my life. He is simply AMAZING and incredibly approachable. I honestly felt like he was treating me like this own nephew. Gary is experienced, patient, knowledgeable, and he really wants you to LEARN when touring houses. For instance, within seconds, he could tell you what’s great and what’s not so great about a house, such as some subtle uneven flooring and potential flooding concern. I’m genuinely impressed. Strategically speaking, he walked me through each step of purchasing a house and patiently debriefed me after each offer that sellers didn’t accept. After a dozen of house visits and a few offers, I finally got myself a beautiful home! Today, I still text or call him when I have questions about some house maintenance. As he said, “My service doesn’t stop here. Once you’re my client, you’re always my client and are welcome to call me when you need recommendations of fixing your house. We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Gary Mesnick. We were first time home buyers with very little knowledge about how to find the right house. On top of that, we started our search in COVID times, when demand for houses was already high in the market and availability limited. Initially we worked with a couple of other realtors too, but no one seemed to click until we met Gary. We wanted someone who could guide us right, be our mentor and at the same time doesn't get exhausted in the current turbulent market.Throughout the past so many months, he had been with us at every step. He made sure that every mail, every call of ours was addressed no matter what time of day or night it was. His professionalism, mentorship, knowledge, honesty, work ethics are incomparable. We always had an experienced mentor by our side to help us make the best decision for our family. We bought a house with Gary several years ago, and when we decided to sell again during the challenging COVID market, we enlisted his services again! Gary kept us updated on the changing market conditions and helped us to develop an effective strategy and understand and negotiate the offers. We ended up with a stellar offer and closed quickly and without any issues. When we began our home buying process, with so many real estate agents on the market we didn’t know who to turn to. We prayed and for direction and God sent us Gary Messnick! Words can not express how amazing he is! Upon our initial meeting he made us feel comfortable. He told us he was going to treat us like family and he did just that! He has a wealth of knowledge that goes far beyond just showing and selling homes. While we walked through homes he would inspect them and would point out things that he felt were areas of concern. He was extremely patient with my husband and I as we viewed several homes until we found the one that was perfect for us. Gary helped us to sell our house in a few months. He negotiated for us and was a perfect liaison between ourselves and the buyer’s agent. He was very knowledgeable about the paperwork and made this whole process very easy. We met Gary before we listed our home. He gave us numerous helpful suggestions about how to position our home to its full advantage. After taking his suggestions, we met again and he carefully explained the comps to us. Together, after much research on Gary’s part, we then came up with a listing price. Next, he hired a professional photographer to show our home at its best on the FMLS and GMLS in photos and in a virtual tour. He also used a designer for our full color custom flyer and virtual tour CDs. We were impressed by his attention to every detail. He was very busy with other clients, both buying and selling, but treated us as if we were his most important client. His marketing plan, syndicating to at least 300 websites, worked immediately and we were approached by a number of buyers, even in these trying times. Gary has helped us sell a home, find rental properties and navigate rental agreements, and purchase a home. We have known him professionally and personally for the past 10 years. He understands our needs so much so, that we found a house that we love within 2 weeks. He is always willing to meet to show a house, and what I love most about Gary, is that he gets there way before we do. He opens the house, turns on lights and familiarizes himself with the specs, so he can easily answer any of our questions. He has the best home inspector too, that was willing to come back 3 times to make sure everything was done to code. Closing was a breeze because Gary really knows what he's doing. Working with Gary was wonderful. He was always engaged in the process and stayed on top of all the proceedings for us. It took a bit of the mental load off for us. He was great at keeping the pressure on the buyer to get us the best offer. He is personable and cares about his clients. This was our second time working with Gary (once buying/once selling) and it was fantastic.I would definitely work with Gary again had we not moved out of the area, but I would not hesitate at recommending him to other home buyers/owners.
