ATTENTION fellow bald people: be sure to ask if the stylist working has a foil razor. I walked in, asked for a clean shave of the head, the stylist asked to use trimmers, which is usual to use trimmers first then the foil. I didn’t find out until after the trimming of the head and beard/neck that she didn’t have a foil. I still had to pay for the haircut and trim. Nothing against the stylist but this was the worst Great Clips experience I’ve ever had.

I highly recommend going to Joselin to do your hair. She is so sweet and professional and is very experienced with curly/textured hair. I will definitely be coming back to see her. 10/10!

I walked into Great Clips excited to take advantage of a sale and prepared to leave a generous tip because of it.
Upon arrival, a blonde woman greeted us with a rude and dismissive attitude. She told us she'd be with us shortly, then, she started complaining loudly to the other stylist about how much she hates sales.
While the other stylist tried to lighten the mood, the blonde woman’s negative energy was overwhelming and off-putting. Her attitude alone made me not want to get my hair cut by her, and I decided to leave before she could call me back.
After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in my experience with this stylist. Several reviews mention a rude, possibly racist, blonde woman, and while I’m white, I came in with an Asian companion—so I can’t help but wonder if this was a factor in her behavior. Whatever the reason I was not going to tolerate it.
I always tip well but this time I was planning to tip 150%. However, there was no way I was going to reward such blatant disrespect. I won't be back to this Great Clips, as no discount is worth being miserable for 15-20 minutes.

I’ve never written a public review before but unfortunately had an unpleasant experience here a few weeks ago that’s been bothering me. Myself, my husband and 3 kids walked in for a walk in children’s haircut for my 2 sons. No one smoked or greeted us - the stylists (one blonde white woman and one dark haired white woman) were sitting and eating and got up looking annoyed and glaring at us like it was our fault for walking into a hair salon asking politely for haircuts. We felt very unwelcome and unwanted and it’s the first time I’ve ever felt that (people warned me about the suburbs of the south but it’s been ok so far - we’re south Asian with olive skin and dark hair) their attitudes were rude -at one point I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and say “umm are you guys annoyed or something? Did we interrupt something?” They curtly replied that no one was annoyed. They were ice cold until other customers walked in. They were served right away. Guess what race they were? Hurt and disappointed for my kids to have to experience racism but it’s a life lesson I had to explain to them. I can only imagine what black people fave subtly and overtly every single day, if this incident upset me so much. We walked out and never going back. It’s 2023 people

Going here was one of the worst haircut experiences I have had in my life. The stylist seemed very angry from the moment I showed up. During the course of the haircut (she only took off a few millimeters despite me asking for two inches), I was lectured on my hygiene, which was extremely offensive. She berated me for some time for not using conditioner properly in my hair. She also angrily made comments that she could tell I had eaten garlic recently. When I asked her to cut my hair in layers and follow the haircut I had previously, she told me that was not possible. By the time I left, I felt horrible about myself and vowed never to go back again.Services: Haircut
