Paid 260 dollars to do a simply tax return only because I had one question I wasn’t sure of I should have called the IRS instead and done them myself! While there the tax preparer Carmen you need to do better! And should know better! kept taking personal phone calls, and she was NOT listening to me at all the advice given by the “pro” screwed me in the end with the IRS and unfortunately can’t be reversed. I’ll save my hard earn money next year and do them myself like I had been, after all they use the same damn tax filing systems and look up stuff the same way you and I can. Tax preparers are just licensed scammers especially if have a simple return
To the owner first of all why do I have to call an 800 which by the way I did and was told i would receive a call in 3 days it’s been a week so if you are trying just to save face by just responding to the post then you missed the point! Shouldn’t you be calling since you own the business? I don’t tolerate bs or mediocre behavior Google needs to let us do zero stars

I had a very good experience with H&R Block. It was my first time filing my own taxes in 25 years. My wife passed away last year. She was an accountant and always did our taxes and we never had a problem. It was scary until I went to H&R Block. My tax preparer was friendly and professional and did the whole return in a half hour. I am so relieved that everything went so smoothly, and I don't have to worry about taxes anymore.

I actually met with two different people this year but the gentleman Mark that helped me initially end up filing was very helpful and informative. He answered all of my questions until I felt more than comfortable with what he was telling me and help me understand how my taxes are supposed to be maintained throughout the year now that I am filing a 1099. I was extremely comfortable and confident in his abilities and look forward to meeting with him hopefully next year again!
