I love Micro Centers in general. They have knowledgable staff members, huge selection, and prices that can't be beat. All that stuff is true about this Micro Center too, but my problem is more with their service center. First off, they seem seriously understaffed. They told me I'd get my computer back in 3-5 days, and after I contacted them on the 5th day, they told me the technician who was supposed to work on my computer had been out for the last 3 days... I had to drive 35mins to the store to find that out by the way. Second, when they finally did diagnose and fix the computer, the missed something SUPER basic. They didn't even test to see if both of my SSDs were working on the new motherboard they installed. It turned out to be a BIOS update, but the fact that they didn't check the SSDs or update the BIOS is kind of unacceptable. Third... After all that hassle and nonsense, I needed to take my PC back home. Unfortunately, in Atlanta, it rains... Like... A LOT. So, naturally, it was raining the evening I came by to pick up the computer. I asked if they had anything to protect my computer while I took it out to my car in the pouring rain. The best thing they could offer me was the cheapest trash bag I've ever seen... and as you can see in the photos, it didn't even really fit over the PC case. Did they end up fixing my computer? Yes. That's the only reason I didn't give this store a 1 star.

I commonly shop here to buy little 3D printer upgrades and small components that wouldn't otherwise be available in Best Buy or other shops. However, I recently went in to buy a computer and other small accessories. The team worked together in great harmony to find components that fits what I was looking for!

Whatever you do, do not take your PC to Computer R US in Kennesaw or trust them to custom build your PC. Luckily Microcenter was able to save the day a few years back and has built the last 3 of my gaming PCs. Cannot recommend them enough.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get your PC built by Microcenter technicians. It has been nothing but a headache since I first got it built. At first, it took a few days to build (understandable). However, once I got the PC home, the system kept crashing. I returned it to Micro Center the next day, and they said they would get it done as soon as possible. A few days pass, and I hear nothing from my technician. Finally, about five days after I dropped off my computer, they realized they just needed to replace the RAM sticks. Which is completely fine, and this would not make me write a bad review on anything. I am very understanding, and I understand people may become busy. However, a few weeks pass, and I realize one of my AIO fans is not spinning. Since the AIO is mounted to the top of my PC, I had no clue it was not working until my system kept overheating and my games began to crash. So, on 01/26/24, I took my computer back to Microcenter. I was told that they would start working on the PC on 01/27/24. Usually, the technicians keep you very informed when they are working on your stuff. However, I have not heard anything, and today is the 30th. Overall, this experience has been downright awful. You would expect to get a fully functioning, smooth-running computer when you pay $2000+. You would also expect that fixing their mistake would be #1 priority, but that has proved to be false.

Micro Center is refusing to honor their "Holiday Extended Return Policy" as posted on their website and in store. ( I purchased some items on 11/05/2024, which is clearly inside the "Holiday Extended Return Policy" window for purchases made between 11/1/23 and 12/25/23. I was given the runaround and told by Tyler (the manager) when I was returning the items on 1/13/2024 that I could only receive store credit or nothing at all since I did not have a gift receipt and he could not return the funds to my original form of payment (credit card) per "store policy." He acted like he was doing me a "favor" by even offering "store credit." I reviewed the written policy on the website again and no where does it say in the policy that I need a gift receipt in order to return items under the "Holiday Extended Return Policy." I do not shop at Micro Center very often and prefer that the credit is issued to my credit card instead of store credit. After this incident I am not sure I will even be back at the store to spend "store credit."

Love it. Lots of cool tech in stock. Very competent sales assistants. The only thing that would have made it perfect is shipping. They do not ship orders so you have to pick them up. I live in NV and the closest store is in GA.

Microcenter has some great deals from time to time. They are worth checking out if you are looking for electronics. I saw a laptop online and went in to take a closer look. I decided to buy it. The sales rep found that the exact unit was no longer in inventory, and a manager marked down a similar laptop for me. I appreciated that - it's unusual to get that kind of service anymore. I'll do business there again.

I love everything about Micro Center! When I left the army, went to college and got my first it job, my office was close to micro center. I started shopping at Micro Center in 1998. There's still one employee in the store that has worked there as long as I've shop there. It's my favorite retail store on the planet. I'll take any opportunity I can to go in there. They're always friendly, they always have what the nerd needs, and it's always nerd weird! And that's the beautiful part about it. As long as I don't move away from Atlanta, I will always shop at Microcenter for all my nerd needs.

Great customer service from Sebastian A. He was knowledgeable about the cable modem that I was looking to purchase and cared about my needs. I'd return to this store in a heartbeat with this kind of service. Keep up the good work Sebastian!

I purchased my laptop from here. I just purchased a desktop, and I always get assessment advice from technical support. I purchased more security for my computer and SSD T7. John and Nicolae S were very helpful and informative. Thanks, guys. I appreciate your help and knowledge. Micro center is my go-to.

Too bad we had to deal with the front end people. The electronics staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Came time to pay and not one front end staff could get their head out of their ass to help us! Finally someone came over. Customer service needs help. Four to five people just standing around. Never coming back.

Love this place only thing I’m skeptical of is I purchase the 4090 gpu 1699.00 and it was defective video card ( they honored the replacement ) my problem is when I brought them I was given a gift card even with receipt . Luckily they still had the gpu’s in stock but if it wouldn’t have been there we would’ve had a problem . Great people there to help . I just hated that my money was returned on a gift card instead of the cash I paid 10 days after purchase. I recommend buying online if you’re 4 hours away like me . They wouldn’t let me mail in the gpu for a replacement so if I have any problems out of the 5000.00 in items I purchased there I’d have to drive another 4 hours one way . You’ll love their stock though .

The absolute friendliest and most helpful staff. I am building a new computer and I bought the majority of my components from microcenter. I walked in the store and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. I told Valerie that I was building a computer and had a list of parts I wanted. She went over the parts for compatibility, made sure I wasn't missing any parts, made sure I was not buying any extraneous parts, and did price matches. She then pulled all the parts for me on a cart while I browsed the store. So, overall, an incredibly efficient and friendly experience, I did not have to wait for shipping, and I got the best prices.
