I love Eleanor. She's pleasant, soft spoken, kind and sweet. She's a great listener. She's professional, fast and great at what she does. My first and only loctician. If anyone is looking for a knowledgeable loctician, check her out. She's the bomb dot com...

KD (Khadedra) is my stylist for the past few years. I had gone to several barbers and stylists, and wasn't satisfied with their work. I found her at a shop in the Square, and I've been going to her ever since. And now, lucky for you, she has her own business. She does such a great job, I always like the end result. I tell her what I'm going for and let her do her thing. I have thick, wavy hair and have gone through several iterations of short cuts to medium and currently longer lengths. And she just has the skill to shape the hair with elegance and sophistication. She's a joy to converse with and a very warm and understanding person. Give her a shot. She may become your preferred stylist.

Natural Perceptions is an experience. I have been a client for several years and every time I go to get my hair done, I am reminded of why I chose this salon years ago. Mrs. Eleanor spares no expense when it comes to creating the ultimate salon experience and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair.

After days of contemplating, I decided to write this detailed review. If you go here, DO NOT go to Mr. Sean. He's perverted and unprofessional, and I hope his wife sees this. My first time was great -- my locs were done in about an hour and a half and they were beautiful. The second time... I'll post a photo of what I wanted and what I received. First and foremost, I admit I had a slight hangover from the night before. Wasn't feeling well, didn't feel like talking... Just do my hair so I can go back to bed, ya know? Mr Sean took it upon himself to attempt to make moves on me all morning instead -- calling my skin pretty and smooth, telling me that I would never feel the way with a woman that I would a man (I'm a lesbian and yes I told him that, numerous times) and actually bringing the Bible out on me and forcing me to open my eyes and read with him, meanwhile I'm gagging and trying to hold in the fact that vodka from last night is about to be all over his floor. I finally get up and run to the bathroom, just to come back and sit down to him STILL reading the Bible. I was brought up in GA, so if I don't know anything, I know the Bible. So when he proceeded to tell me that God only forgives the first time, I already knew he was bogus. He started with, "You ever had a man read the Bible to you? You'll understand it better." Then he proceeded with, "For example, if I close this door right now and I finish your hair and we have sex, God would forgive us the first time. But he wouldn't if we kept doing it." Do you know how scary and unprofessional that is? I'm obviously uncomfortable now, and he tells me to get up and go to the wash bowl so that he could rinse my hair out. As I'm walking out, he asks for a hug. For no reason. I just look at him for a second, and I reach my arm out. He meets me with both arms then proceeds to grab and my behind. Once I pushed him off, he just laughed and told me to go to the bowl. He didn't say anything else to me until he was done, thank goodness. This man is married and obviously in his late 40s-early 50s. I'm 23 and again, I'm a lesbian. All of this was known before he started coming on to me. Just be careful if you go ladies. And don't accept any drinks from him because he will try to give you a free shot of alcohol. I wouldn't take it. If you go here, there are other stylists -- all female -- that I'm sure would be able to make you feel comfortable while your hair is getting done.
