All of the pet cages were exceptionally clean, and every animal in the store was well fed with lots of water. Even though I was just strolling through not looking to buy anything, I had three different employees ask me if I needed help. I was very impressed with both the staff and their work. I would recommend this pet store over any other in town.

This was my first experience with Petco grooming. Unfortunately my dogs coat had gotten to long and she had some bad spots due to the length of her hair. I thought she might come home looking like a shaved rat. But Morgan did a fantastic, incredible job. Lola looks absolutely beautiful. I was beyond thrilled with the service. We will be back to Morgan for sure.

Do not patronize the grooming services at this location! I brought my 10 lb. dog to this location while Samantha was employed there. I followed her from another Petco location to this location ONLY because I loved her as did my pup. Her grooming qualities and patience were exceptional. However, I was called by the store because according to what was told to me, she walked out one day and didn't return; so my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I politely said NO THANK YOU! The store manager, Craig, at this Petco Prado location is a complete arse who doesn't need to be the manager of a McDonalds much less a Petco store! He lacks professionalism, courtesy, and has no customer service skills whatsoever. He banned my pup from ever using Petco grooming services because I challenged and questioned him on a policy he couldn't effectively articulate. As a result, I reported him to Petco Corporate HR. Instead of letting go of good quality groomers like Samantha or Reiko, Petco needs to pink slip AND ban store managers like Craig!

Bring SAMANTHA back!!! She originally was at the Crater Lake location, which is where I took my furbaby until she transferred to the Town Center Prado location. She was the only Petco groomer that I felt remotely comfortable bringing my little 11 lb furbaby to. She treated my dog with respect, kindness, and gentleness. Other than Samantha and Reiko, I have not had the same experiences with the other groomers at the Town Center Prado location. All the other groomers including the store manager are rude and unprofessional. I even had to contact the Corporate office to report the store manager for his bad behavior. The Grooming Staff turnover is EXTREMELY HIGH, which to me is a reflection of the store leadership. SAMANTHA, if you see this message contact me so that I can bring my furbaby to wherever you are located!!!

We will not be back. I was going there for a while, and the one groomer we used, we were able to work out what we wanted done and not done for our pups. Now that she is gone, I tried once again, and what I found was vary unprofessional groomers and unprofessional service. I could go on about the issues we experienced, but today was my limit. I guess they don't mind losing clients because they do so much business. Well, these two pups won't be back that's all I know.

they cut my dogs hair all the way off he looked like a whole another dog but it ok because his hair with grow back but I would never go back it must of been their first day be no way I'm disappointed

Petco in Marietta is horrible. They will find ways to charge you excessive fees and the manager, Craig is obnoxious and rude. Lack customer service skills

I meant to write this review a while ago, I took my husky here for a full bath no cut, he has an amazing reputation, people rave about how he sits and is so calm and sweet with baths and how incredible he is. He’s gone to groomers all his life since young. He is not your average husky, doesn’t howl is very obedient. I took him here for the first time and this heavier set lady with brown hair took care of him. Upon pickup I heard a dog howling and screaming thinking there’s no way that’s my dog, as I hear a very loud air dryer running. She comes over and explains how my dog was not well behaved and continue explaining nonsense. Little does she know this is EXTREMELY unusual behavior so I was immediately LIVID deep down inside knowing she was probably rough with him or some horror story that ppl can do to your animals at the groomers. I asked her if that was my dog screaming in the back and to please to go grab my dog. She continues to explain nonsense almost stalling to let him suffer with the loud dryer causing his extremely unusual distress, (never once have I ever heard the sounds I was hearing come out of my dog in 8 years) and I ask once again, please just go get my dog because I cannot sit here and listen to my dog screaming like that (he’s 8 years old). I forgot to bring his leash, and she said she won’t bring out my dog because I need a leash. I then got extremely angry asking her if she was going to keep my dog hostage?! I forgot his leash, and hearing those sounds I’m not going to grab any leash until he’s by MY SIDE. She then finally goes and grabs him, says how he was horrible and told me that I was banned from ever entering there again. I now leave extremely upset and angry. If you look up his name on Petco for groomers you can see how ppl review the dogs they groom and he has GREAT feedback from every single person. As I leave, another lady ran out and stopped me. She was her manager I guess, but she apologized on behalf of her and said I can go back whenever I please. She then mentioned the “good feedback and reviews” she saw apologized for the poor behavior of that girl. Anyway I was so horrified by this experience (a year ago) that my dog has not gone to a groomer since.

Josh is an excellent groomer but will never return because of Becca. She should not be permitted to be around dogs ever.

I just tried to book a grooming appointment at this location. I had previously used it once before. The man who answered the grooming line was dealing with another animal while trying to pull up the schedule of the groomer. He was rude beyond belief. Talking to himself about the difficulty he was having with the computer and the animal he was dealing with. I remained quite patient. After a considerable bit of time when he gave me his attention I asked if he could see my previous invorce so that I might know what services were performed and the cost. He proceeded to tell me this time the cost would be more due to my puppy's age. I told him it had been a month since the last visit. I was inquiring about the difference when he became irate... said he was canceling the appointment I had scheduled, removing my dog from the system and rudely said he did not believe this salon was for my dog! With this kind of surly rudiness...you bet it is not!!!!Cheryl

After a less than stellar experience at the Kennesaw location, I came here to get my dog a bath. They welcomed us with open arms and got us in quickly. I will be coming here for our grooming moving forward.

Absolutely terrible experience. Brought my dog here for his first groom and dealt with a punks kid with purple hair and gelled Mohawk. He was not friendly at all and didn’t welcome my dog. Instinctively, my dog wasn’t comfortable with this guy and the guy made zero effort to comfort my dog. He ended up calling me 1 minute into the groom saying they needed to abort the grooming. This guy is lazy, uncaring, and ultimately shouldn’t be in this line of work. Beware of dropping your dog off with the purple haired Mohawk guy,
