They will not even look at your dogs if you are not there to purchase a service or vaccination. Even though the associate clearly told me that “examination is free” after I made it clear that that is all we were there for. This is also not a full dog clinic so they will not accept your “free” examination coupon. They website is misleading by and booking an appointment to take advantage of the “free” first appointment is not true and I’m assuming bate to get you in the store to spend money.

I have been going to Petco for several years now! It seems the store manager Patrick R. Needs some training on customer service and professionalism. His demeanor, tone is very rude and unhelpful and uninterested to help. The whole experience with him was negative. There was no resolution to assisting with help when asking questions. Just was No! Maximus on the other hand very pleasant and very professional customer service. Just genuine and very helpful. Need more employees such as Max to be promoted!! I will stop buying from Petco in store now. Thank Max for helping me out, I appreciate it greatly!! Happy holidays!!

Friendly staff, floors were a bit too dirty due to dog pee (not sure if that is a consistent issue though). Good selection of options for all of your animal family members.

I have been a member of Petco vital care for four years. I pay $20 a month for membership and I have my dog groomed every month. Last few months it has been absolutely terrible unable to book appointments online and I had to call the store to make appointment by phone, I have tried making an appointment on three different occasions in the last two weeks and I have left a voicemail on two occasions as it’s impossible to get through an actual person. Nobody ever called me back. Decided to call customer service and they couldn’t make an appointment for me , but they got me in touch with someone working in the Petco in Marietta. I guess it was one of the managers, but I’m not sure and they assured me that they left a message for the groomers to give me a call the next day to make an appointment. The whole week past and yet again, nobody called me. That’s three different occasions where I left my voicemails and full details and nothing has happened . That got me very frustrated and I will not be renewing my membership, which is due renewal next month. Absolutely terrible service.I will not be using Petco for anything again in the future.

If a container said x amount in the container (50)
And you literally count them out and it’s less than 65% of the claimed amount … that’s false advertisement …. that's a rip off!
As a buyer we are expected to pay 100% of the asking price … but the customer receives 65% of what is claimed to be sold as… that shows ya what these companies are here for! Only for the $$$ … Barrett parkway location literally told me they have 0 intentions of correcting this error!

Went in for a nail grind walk in service today. I was asked to come back in 30 minutes. I could see all 3 people were busy but I was under the impression they take walk ins. I said I couldn’t wait and I would try the other Petco. As I was leaving one of the groomers said you could have called in a really rude tone.No thanks Petco! I called Petsmart and they got me in no problem and seemed confused I was calling to confirm.

Like any normal Petco. The employee that was working in the fish section at the time that I was there was not very educated on saltwater. Was giving customers bad advice on what to do with fish. They need to make a policy and signs around the fish area to remind people to always quarantine your fish before putting it in your display.
