I went in for an exam to check out a swollen, painful ingrown on my vaginal area. After I arrived, front desk verified I still wanted to go through with the appointment. I did.
RN and Dr. Chloe had great beside manner.
They asked me several times during appointment if I had any questions or concerns. I was offered an STD test several times during the appointment but declined as the bump did not appear to be caused by an STD.
Office was clean and tidy. They make the process as confidential as possible while in the reception area. [Calling you by your initials and having you write the reason for your appointment on a post it note].

READ BEFORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT:
Booked an appointment with the call center over a month ago. Went into detail what the appointment was needed for and scheduled accordingly. I get there and red flags as soon as I pressed the buzzer, the attitude was strong. Like I was an inconvenience of being there. I’m in the rain explaining I have a booked appointment. After a good minute of standing there, they finally unlocked the door just to have an attitude and loudly asking why I was there. As if that’s even the front staffs business to be discussing with me in the lobby. Like it’s not in their system.
I Drove 30 minutes just to be informed the provider was refusing to see me. Not only was I denied to be seen so was the patient ahead of me. (Another red flag) no one thought to call me beforehand to inform me of this, nothing. When I was obviously very confused why i was being refused to be seen I was told “provider doesn’t feel comfortable due to me being a new patient” ??? I’m sorry what? That makes 0 sense. This is planned parenthood not a regular obgyn to begin with. The whole point of planned parenthood is to assist the community especially those who have low income. Trust me you all weren’t the first or even the second option.
I waited a month to be seen and no one thought to call me to inform me not to waste my time, gas or take off work. When I became upset the office staff told me it was out of their hands. I called the call center and informed them of what happened and they could have cared less as well. All they offered was referrals to go somewhere else. Not one apology.
I’m not sure what in the world is going on with planned parenthood, but this is absolutely unacceptable on so many levels. I wish I would have gotten the providers name and reported them. Do not become a physician if you’re going to refuse to help people that’s literally your only job. The office staff, the provider and call center all need to do better or find a different field all together. The front desk was gossiping and being incredibly unprofessional. The whole experience was horrible from the beginning to the end. Go literally anywhere but this location if you can.

Every time I go to the Marietta Planned Parenthood I have the same wonderful experience: I am seen, I am listened to, and I am given excellent care. The doctors, nurses, and admins are always caring and considerate. The only negative to my experience was the one idiot outside protesting.

So ima just be honest. It’s clear that they try to make it difficult and hard for the women of this area to be seen by a physician. It’s so horrible that someone with no phd is stopping these women from being seen. First off the phone situation and the attitude on the phone is so uncalled for. Front desk attitude on entry is so ugly. Even how they talk to you through the buzzer. Who ever the light skin chubby lady that worked 1/24/25 2:00pm. Needs to be retrained, Or let go. As I sat there waiting and I seen other people came in. It’s like she found every reason not to let no one be seen by the doctor. And I do not understand why are they asking for physical insurance card , and it’s in all my paper work and , I was told that I could use my insurance portal online. Get there and now it’s no. Not sure if the doctors are in on this also. But honestly to whoever reads this that works for the company….
Tell your employees “stop acting so ugly.
Get the customers in and out save the attitude for when you’re not in the work environment. Watch your mouth with the customers , they’re not your little brother or sister. And anyone can peep when you’re being rude, Or snappy with them.
Quit if it’s too much for you to handle ma’am.
Planned parenthood is for the community remember that. To better it. Don’t forget the main mission.

From Dr. Stacey to the nurses, these women are AMAZING! They make you feel safe, comfortable, at ease, and able to get your medical needs met in a non-judgement environment. They offer pads, tampons, and condoms for free. They are a safe and compassionate space for survivors of sexual assault and trafficking. I can’t rave more about how well they treated me. You will not regret visiting this facility and I cannot thank them enough for how wonderful they all were.

I’m incredibly grateful for the care and compassion I receive at Planned Parenthood Marietta every time.
From the moment I walked in, every staff member in that building makes me feel safe, heard, respected, and supported. They take the time to answer all questions and ensure you feel comfortable and informed. It’s rare to find such genuine care, and I truly appreciate how the team goes above and beyond. Every person I’ve encountered has been amazing! Special Shoutout to Dr.Stacey, Tanyah, Taylor, Jessica, Precious and the rest of the team!

The rudeness, attitude, and lack of privacy I experienced from the front desk woman this morning was very unnecessary. I couldn’t even make it through the door before she was calling out to me across the lobby asking the reason I am arriving for. I hesitated to answer because obviously I’m not trying to announce to the whole facility. She repeats the question before I can respond and I let her know I can answer her when I reach the desk. Seemed like I was bothering her for showing up and preferring to keep MY health information private, won’t happen again!

Tried to go for a pregnancy test and was treated very rudely. I am disabled and have a service dog and they were very rude about her and refused to let us be seen and told us we shouldn’t have even come in the door. According to the Americans with Disabilities act, this is illegal. They stated it was for “hygiene“ reasons, but that is not a legitimate complaint. if I can go to a hospital with my dog, I can pee in a cup with her. Unacceptable, I will absolutely never come back here again or recommend it to anyone else.
