Rats!!!!! Rat Droppings everywhere. I only have furniture and a few clothing items and the rat droppings are all in the clothes, my curtains, just everywhere. If you know your facility has a problem with Rodents there is no kind of poison or deterrents to prevent them. Public Storage do not want to take responsibility for the damage caused by debris leaking from their building and the Rats...They told me to file a claim then denied any damage was done when the claim people followed up so the claim was denied. I filed a claim again and they just let the claim sit there for months, it was the same examiner that denied the first claim and she was awful. I never heard from her regarding the second. claim. I pay $15mth for the extra insurance. I suggest you use your own insurance because they will not honor the claims filed. When I moved in to their unit my items was not damaged but now I need to move again because I believe they knew of the issues with the unit because the price was so low, but I didn't think that was the reason. I also believe they were aware about the Rats because they never asked for pictures but just said they will have the facility treated, but when I asked when, they have no idea when they will come? So if I want my unit treated I have to leave my keys with them but they don't know when it will happen. How is this good business? How is this fair? How is this right? I am just disappointed in how they handled this situation. Through all of the damage to my items from the stuff falling from the ceiling, liquid leaking into my boxes and now Rats, they gave me a credit of $35. No honor or integrity in how they do business...Do not use their Orange Door Insurance get your own.

Laquisha was a very considerate and patient representive very pleasant mild mannered help with instruction, while on a phone meeting took time to process vacate and transfer to other properties, and helped efficiently.
