I was shocked to be charges $3.25 for a large coffee . Last time I purchase coffee from QT .

I have made literally thousands of purchases at this QT over the years. Today when making a purchase it asked me for pin number. Never has it asked that before it's always immediately ran as credit and quickly authorizes. Because it's never asked this before it raised red flags and I asked the girl checking me out how to bypass that and she initially said she would'nt do that and I would have to use my pin but then after questioning her about it she changed what she said to she didn't have any way to do it nor knew what to push to bypass it
I went out to my vehicle and called my bank. My bank clearly told me that it's not my card that QT should let me bypass it and run it as credit as normal and assured me nothing was wrong with my account or my card.
I went back in and told her this information my bank just explained to me and she said there's nothing she can do that there's nothing unusual about it asking for a pin.
But actually it is unusual because it's never happened when i have made thousands of purchases.
Obviously she could not comprehend this concern.
I asked her if mabye she should call her boss and she said they are not going to care and will say the same thing.
I went across the street to Racetrack. At the counter it asked for my pin. I don't usually purchase things at Racetrack so I can't say if it's unusual or not but I asked the girl at the counter how to bypass and run as credit and she immediately told me what to push in order to do that. So I did and it bypassed it and ran it as credit. I'll be changing where I make my purchases now .
When I had asked the girl at QT who the manager was she said she was. It's concerning the manager of a gas station such as this had no clue how to solve this issue or either knew how to bypass the pin and refused to tell me or didn't know. Concerning she couod care less about it when i explained its never happened before so something is amiss.
Would seem that information on this type thing any manager would know. Something is fishy about what happened there today and I'm glad I didn't put my pin number in because if someone is scamming you and you use your pin your not protected like you are when it runs as credit.
Update Tuesday Jan 21st
Pulled up at pump and put my fleet gas card in. Same as usual. Same as I always do every 3 days for the past 7 years. It declined and said see cashier. This QT has issues. I officially will not shop here again or buy gas.
I went across the street just like last time and no problem at Race Track. Took my fleet card at the pump like normal.

This is the first QT gas station gas station. That has clean bathrooms I wish I lived in this area because holy crap it's really hard to find a good clean bathroom props to the management team you guys doing great job thank you thank you thank you oh my God

QT just added this great coffee dispenser for 6 cold coffees and 6 hot coffees, in addition to their regular selections. It's quite fancy and the new coffees have a fancy flavor. Just another reason to stop. Their coffee, iced tea, and soft drinks are the least expensive in Atlanta. And they all taste great.

This is the new breed of convenience store gas stations and I like it. It's located on a busy corner and they have a large parking lot. Plenty of space for bigger cars and vans, I had no problem getting into a space.
Inside, a huge selection of snacks and drinks. Hot dogs and other roller meat options. Slushie drinks in a variety of flavors. All the soda flavors. Candy and such in salty and sweet and sour. Free toppings for hot dogs.
The inside of the store is clean and well stocked. The men's room was in excellent shape. Outside, a couple covered tables are inside the bollards for some security.

Always clean and well staffed. Unlike other gas stations, I always get a printed receipt at the pump. I cannot tell you how often I have to go into the store to get a printed receipt from other gas stations. Many don’t bother in our digital age but I do just to see if the pumps are serviced. Little thing but can reflect if station managed well or not.

This location has a consistent staff of employees who are kind, courteous, and efficient. The hiring manager for this location appears to do a good job, as do the employees themselves. The store, facilities and grounds are always clean and all pumps are typically operational.

Stopped in for the ATM and decided to get a snack. One guy, Vladimir, was working the registers. Two people in front on me and it took over 5 minutes for them to checkout. Vladimir says he can take me at one of the open registers, so I head over. He asks who's paying with a card, the guy after me raised his hand. I'm still standing at the register...apparently invisible at the moment. The employee proceeds to help the guy who walked up well after me, even though he asked me to come to the register. He checks out the guy after me, who purchased 2 Monster energy drinks, then I finally get helped. Also, someone from the kitchen finally comes up to help at the registers as I was checking out. Vladimir been needed this help. I will not be back. Customer service is everything.
