Rick's Farmers Market is a hidden gem offering fresh local produce from all over Georgia, including juicy peaches and great veggies. It features a great selection of absolutely delicious cooked foods like barbeque, brisket, fried chicken, and plate lunches that taste like they’re straight from grandma’s kitchen. The side selection is extensive with salads, vegetables, and local goods like honey, jams, and pickled goodness. The service is incredibly friendly with a small-town feel, making it very kid-friendly. It is the best food in the area, though they close at 6:30pm.

Please ask for Nick to guide the family around the market, he can lead us to “Sugar Baby” watermelons, local honey and sweet strawberry ice cream, hand churned. Farm raised eggs, corn and beens just like our grandparents raised us.

Stopped in to grab some fresh produce and was pleasantly surprised to be able to have a home cooked southern lunch while I was there as well. Very nice place and friendly service.
