Nice representative and a lot of appliances onsite plus offsite. I am currently just looking but this retailer is definitely on the top of my list. I mean a refrigerator with a ding on a handle or the side, back etc and no functional issues for a discount I am definitely there for getting more for my money any day.

Let me tell you how AMAZING Smith Appliance is.. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU RECEIVE IS TOP NOTCH! And you can't beat the prices! Thank you guys for taking care of me and my family in our emergency situation. Not only were they prompt, but they made sure to find me the unit was was looking for and get it transferred to a closer location for me to pick up in less than 24 hours.Thank you guys for all the hard work yall do! The service you provide for our community is TOP NOTCH!

Absolutely the best service! We came in and knew we wanted a Speed Queen after doing our research and having two brand name washers fail us within 8 years. Wazir was pleasant, knowledgeable m, and gave us his attention. He handled our sale while politely acknowledging another customer there to pick up an appliance. He also recommended a delivery and installation person. Now that we know this place is here, we will definitely return here first before going to a big box store if we need anything else.

We just moved to the area and needed some appliances for our new house ASAP - we asked around for some recommendations and were able to find everything we needed here, they helped us find the proper sized refrigerator that would fit in our kitchen space, and we were able to have the installer deliver and install everything same-day. Everyone at the store was helpful and easy to talk to, we’ll definitely be recommending them.

We are very happy with our choice of working with Smith Appliances ! We just bought a home and replaced the dishwasher and refrigerator with the new GE Cafe Platinum Glass models. The owners here Fred & Teri are a pleasure to work with. Very nice down to earth people! Installation with Scott's team was great. We definitely recommend to meet with them on any appliance purchases. You will be in good hands! Thank you Fred & Teri we wish you the best of success.

Very happy with our experience buying a Speed Queen top-load washer. They answered all of our questions without pressure. When we purchased, they gave us the information for a couple of guys who deliver for them often - they did a fantastic job as well and were easy to coordinate with.

FIVE STARS HANDS DOWN!!!First off, Fred, the owner, is working his tail off to do a great job and keep his store running BY HIMSELF. When I went in to make my purchase, the phone was ringing off the hook, customers were at the front, customers picking up, and customers browsing the store. I could tell he was a little frazzled, but he kept his cool and handled every situation one at a time. He didn't interrupt a customer in person to answer the phone, which I thought was really cool and classy. It was all I could do to not try to help and at least try to answer the phone. Ha! When I asked him about his staffing situation, he said they have tried to hire people and they just can't get anyone---so if you have great customer service skills, I bet Fred would love to hire you!! LOLNow for the awesome part---we had ordered a full kitchen of appliances from Home Depot and we kept getting pushed back and pushed back on our delivery date. One GE lady said it may even be December before we get our ovens! This is June! Well, someone suggested I call the "little guy" instead of the big box store. Divine intervention and advice! I did a simple Google search and found Smith Appliance. I called and Fred answered and I asked if he had the GE appliances I was desiring and he said yes. We had such a run around with HD that I was desperate and would take any color, but the color I really wanted was slate--and I said by chance do you have them in slate---totally expecting the answer to be no. Well, the heavens parted, the sun came out---Fred said absolutely and I have everything in stock!! I couldn't believe it!! He also gave me the number of his best installer, Tyler the Tool Box. That was a Tuesday. By Thursday everything was installed and ready to use. Fred and Tyler have literally been amazing and the entire customer service experience was A++. I want to share this review a million times and hope that Fred can also get the staffing help he needs because he needs great people helping him continue to be great. One other thing, Fred's prices were a little cheaper than Home Depot's. Saving is saving and I had a personable experience as well. The little guy won on this one and that makes me happy to have been a part of supporting a local, small business.

Update:Hey Fred, thanks for your response and your explanation about the hump in my lid. I had some issues with the area around the bleach reservoir turning yellow after only 8 uses of the machine, so I googled SpeedQueen's customer service number. During my reading, I never saw anything about that hump. Lol. I sincerely appreciate that education. Just wanted to post an update to address your question about my statement about pickup. I paid and left the store. When my client / friend came to pick it up, he called me and said, "Hey. The washer isn't actually here. They said it's located somewhere over on *insert name of street*. And that's where I should have gone to pick it up. But they said I can get the display model." My client had already moved some things around and rescheduled his day to do this favor for me. And he's the only person I know that has a truck that he actually doesn't mind hauling stuff with, so I told him to go ahead and bring that one.It's been SO long that I can't remember where the staff member said the warehouse was / where he was was supposed to have gone to pick up the washer, but I am 100% my client called, from the store - and we had this conversation. At the time of purchase, The Smith Appliance delivery person wasn't going to be available for 2 weeks, so I advised that I would have someone pick it up. And I was never told that the pick-up location was somewhere other than the showroom.With regards to the credit card thing - I understand - and as I stated, I didn't actually deduct a star for that. When my Mother passed away, we inherited a couple of rental properties in south Ga. Since I now have to manage them from afar, there have been COUNTLESS times that I had to call a store and make my payment over the phone (for a new water heater, new fridge, carpentry repairs, carpet cleaning, other plumbing repairs, you name it). Frankly, I don't know what I would have done if the companies I have dealt with didn't accept my payment over the phone because I work too much to have time to drive 5.5 hours (one way) to physically hand someone my credit card. Again - no stars lost - just a note for others so they know in advance since it's a pretty extraordinary circumstance in this day and age. In my recent experiences, most companies accepted it with no qualms, with the exception being one company that asked me to email or fax a copy of my GADL beforehand. Again, thanks. ******************My salesperson, Fred, was very nice and knowledgeable.They seem to have a LOT of inventory to choose from. The only reason I'm rating them 4 stars instead of 5 is because no one mentioned to me that I'd be purchasing a floor model. The parking lot is tiny and steep - and I thought it was like that because the building was configured with a 'showroom' and inventory warehouse onsite. If I'd known that I needed to coordinate a pickup somewhere else if I didn't want to purchase the floor model, I would have made other arrangements. Initially, I wanted delivery but they were booked up for two weeks out.The machine doesn't have any scratches - but for some reason - theres a huge hump in the lid. And even though I dropped $1100 on this thing - I can't bring myself to inconvenience and ask the friend that picked it up - to return it based on this hump - but like most consumers - I really would have preferred an immaculate and pristine washer to start with.Another note - and this is just a note - not a complaint and no stars lost - they do not accept AmEx or electronic payments over the phone. And they do not allow you to pay online via a website. I understand that this is to reduce the chance of identity fraud / theft - but me and my hurt back back was not very happy to have to drive there just to pay. Lol.I wound up at this store because other than Badcock, they are the only local spot that sells SpeedQueen washing machines. SpeedQueens don't look very 'modern' or 'attractive' but this

When I needed a washer and dryer I went to Smith Appliance. Not only did they have the best price but the also provided excellent customer service. Fred cares about his customers and made the experience easy and wonderful. He is a very knowledgeable and honest person. Since then I have needed a stove and went back to Smith Appliance. I have never been disappointed and will always go here to buy appliances. Take the time to go to Smith Appliance. You will be glad you did!
