St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Store in Marietta is a well-loved, volunteer-run shop that offers a wide variety of gently used items, including clothing, antiques, and treasures. Customers appreciate the fair prices, especially during holiday sales when themed items are sold at very low prices. Many shoppers find items that are almost new, with some still having tags, thanks to generous community donations. The store is known for its friendly and helpful staff, often seniors, who provide warm customer service and make visitors feel like family. The management and team, including individuals like Denise, James, and Eddie, are praised for their kindness and dedication to helping customers have a positive shopping experience. The store also supports the community by reinvesting proceeds to help the poor and needy, making it a charity-focused alternative to commercial thrift shops. Visitors highlight the store’s clean, well-organized layout and the joy of discovering unique treasures. However, some concerns have been raised about the store’s policies, such as the lack of public restrooms, which has caused disappointment for customers. Overall, the store is valued for its good deals, community support, and the caring attitude of its volunteers, making it a favorite among those seeking affordable clothing and household items while contributing to a charitable cause.
So far no issues! Last week I scored 5 items, 3 were at 70%off. Really cute dresses. Something was from Target and I am sure it was probably originally S15.00 and was priced at $7. I only purchased it because it was 70% off. Overall the selection is good
