Just had a truly horrible & shocking experience at Home Depot with a sorry excuse for an human-being/employee named Janet from Hardware hair half-up wearing glasses & blue shirt, first off she was annoyed I asked for her help since the key kiosk sign said employee use only, then telling me to step farther away because she didn't want to breath the same air as me...weird & rude since I was at least 3 feet away from her standing in front of the opposite key machine, but whatever I just needed a key copied, then Janet proceeded to start complaining about EVERYTHING; my key was leaving a mark on her thumb from her pushing the key into the machine, how dirty this store is, that she's the only employee working in her dept for 6 hours today, she's got a cart full of boxes to work, that the store won't hire more people, telling me tales of customers recently trying to steal tools in a yellow-lidded bin through the garden center. As Janet is on her anti-Home Depot tirade, I'm very uncomfortable & waiting for my final key copy, another customer in a long-sleeved orange shirt presenting as Latino gentleman walks up & politely asks if Janet know where the gutters section is, instead of giving him a simple answer she loudly responds "What, what do you want?", the customer repeats "gutters for water" and holds up a gutter clip to show her, but Janet isn't even listening because she is simultaneously yelling over him saying "What, what? I don't know that's not my department! Go ask someone else!". The other customer looked taken aback & turned to the side to walk down the aisle to the right, and Janet hatefully said (loud enough for me to hear & the other customer as well) "Why don't you learn to speak English!"-I was STUNNED & went to self checkout in a blur, turning enraged walking out of the store, I immediately called customer service & spoke to a supervisor before even leaving the parking lot.Who knows if they will do anything to address & correct this disgusting issue. But one thing is for sure, Janet from Hardware is a beyond horrible human being & employee that besmirches a local Home Depot that my family & I have been coming to for decades.I hope the other customer (somehow) didn't hear Janet's hateful remark, I hope his day wasn't ruined by her racist words, I hope another employee kindly did their job and helped him today at Home Depot.***UPDATE: 11:48AM 4/24/2023 Less than an hour from my call to customer service, I just received a callback from one of the managers, reassuring me that he had pulled Janet to speak with her and the situation was being taken seriously, because no matter someone's personal mentality when they put on their apron they are representing Home Depot. So hopefully the appropriate measures are being carried out against Janet in Hardware.****UPDATE 4/28/2023: Above was the experience review I left for the Home Depot store at Sandy Plains Road & Gordy Parkway in Marietta, for whatever reason my Google review & one of my included photos was taken down/blocked so I'd like to re-post & share it with Home Depot's corporate page in hopes of there being some sort of accountability for this disgusting behavior.4/28/2023: I have also addressed this issues with the BBB, because this is unacceptable.

I have been shopping here for two decades. They used to be staffed with helpful employees and smiles. That has not been true for a couple years now. Each time I give them a shot, I am let down again. Mostly children and lifetime employees...and you better be happy they are there or else. Lol. Nah. I've been using Lowes and am happier with the service.

My flooring department experience was terrible. I should have gone to a flooring company. Their experts and "pros" were not helpful until it was too late. They inspected my floor prior to install and should have recommended another flooring option. As a result, I paid over 50% restocking fee for product that their installer couldn't install. Lesson learned

Worst customer experience ever! Was there to buy a refrigerator and the specialist was with another customer but never once acknowledged us, or said he Would reach out to someone to help. We waited 30 minutes for help, but finally had enough and walked out. My husband and I Will give our money to Lowe's now.

Sonny went out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of at this Home Depot! I had problems with self checkout and then I realized I left my debit card at home. He tried everything to help me see if we could use my pro account card to pay and then I realized I had my check book and he patiently waited through that. The whole time he was so pleasant and kind! He never once made me feel like a burden even though I felt so embarrassed that I couldn't get it together! I had already had a long day and I was taking my daughter out to buy stuff for our diy guinea pig cage project. This night could have ended in tears for me, but thankfully with a wonderful employee like Sonny, my daughter and I were all smiles and I will be making the drive from Woodstock to become a permanent customer! I couldn't be more thankful for customer service like that!!

I have tried since July 9 2021 to purchase a refrigerator and stove from home depot. The first order got cancelled by customer support when they said they could not set up the stove because I had not ordered an installation kit. When I asked if I could purchase the installation kit and have it here when the appliance would be delivered I was told no and that the order had to be cancelled and reordered. Then I tried to reorder the items and the prices had increased because the

Worst pine straw ever. Basically the Mexican dirt weed version of pine straw, full of sticks, stems and debris. Surprised they sell this trash. Was more work pulling all the sticks out than laying it.

This service absolutely sucks. I will never shop at this Home Depot again, it's worth the drive to a different Home Depot. It's not a one time thing, people leave as they are putting mulch in your car and never return, I've been waiting to get the pine straw trailer unlocked for 20 minutes, there's so much more than that too. I live 3 minutes from this one, I will be driving 15 minutes to another just so I can have a halfway decent experience at a home depot. Disgraceful.

Now I understand why HD receives such poor reviews. Needed replacement water heater on Wed before Thanksgiving. Printed HD credit card approval page to receive $100 credit on $1K purchase. JF HD store had only damaged boxes so found this $900 item here plus others. Associates wasted over 1 hour trying to figure out how to apply discount. Hopeless, embarrassing that HD is based in ATL. Wonder why I bought stock in Lowes recently? Don't try to do business here.

Why Home Depot Sucks Sucks!!!!!The store credit situation is ridiculous. I cannot take my wife's Home Depot store credit while she was sitting in the car with the kids and use it since she did the return. They think that is security? The employee began to proceed to share with me that this was for my own protection. From my wife???????? This store is clueless! They are so behind the times the probably cannot figure out how to attach this to a address. #gotolowes

I am extremely upset. My husband ordered a refrigerator for my birthday. It still hasn't been delivered and its postponed until mid september when he ordered it July 3rd. Home depot didn't even care and just asked if we wanted it to be cancelled. I will never buy an appliance from there again.

I came to this location to check on a refrigerator. I waited over 30 minutes before I even found someone who would even speak to me and he said he'd call the lady that worked in appliances. She refused to answer the phone so he asked another lady who told him to just have me wait. I told the man thank you and left. The next day u called this location 7 times and only was able to speak with a live human twice. Both times I asked for the store manager and both times I was put on a ring around with no one answering. This Home Depot's customer service is for $hi+
