My sweet pup just got back from his first grooming experience. The ladies at Affectionate Pet Parlor were fantastic! I chose them because of the close proximity to my house, but I am so happy with the service. We will be back! Thanks for taking care of Chewie!

If the workers offer to re-home your pets with them, and you refuse, they will contact animal services and try to get your pet removed. Do not go to this place of business if you have a full breed dog. They will want to take it from you.

I'm so excited to give Crissy a 5 star rating for her work on Theodore. He's a fluffy difficult Samoyed that has even fur to cover the yard with white fluff when it's blowing season. I thought having a Husky was a challenge until we got an even bigger, longer haired dog from a colder region of the world. First, you're going to have to call ahead and make an appointment with her and the staff. They take the time to wash and groom only one to two dogs at a time so there's less time in a crate or restrained which is something some dogs are strangers to. Theodore was not crate trained and she kept him in a laundry room so he was still kept apart from the other dog while waiting which was most accommodating of her! Chrissy is the only doggy groomer who offers soothing essential oils that are doggy friendly and aimed towards benefiting the dogs. A grooming session that takes 3 hours at our other place only takes 1.5-2 here with her. I think the lack of waiting is what really cuts down on the time. It's unassuming, homey and tucked away from a lot of foot traffic but very quiet so skittish dogs can really benefit from this place. I want to say a full grooming session for my 75 lbs. long haired white snow dog was $55? maybe $59? Either way, my dog came back to me reasonably happy, injury free (unlike another place) and very nicely styled in a very short amount of time. Any amount of money is worth that piece of mind
