Had an amazing car buying experience with Haven. I've always felt pressured when dealing with car salesmen before, but she was the right amount of helpful and I'm very appreciative. The only reason I left 3 stars instead of 5 is because of my experience with Bill in financing. He pressured me to get all these extra coverages which I declined and he became visibly upset and started rushing me, ruining the rest of my car buying experience. He also gave me incorrect information, saying that I could make any changes to my coverages within the first 45 days and when I called back to inquire, I was told I couldn't.

Liz Hatcher was FAR & AWAY the most informative/personable/flexible Fleet delivery person I have ever experienced. FWIW, after nearly 40 years in company cars & getting a new car on average every 3 years, my above comment is a STRONG recommendation. She made the 1+ hour/out-of-state drive to pick up the new car well worth it! Thanks for the great service

To anyone thinking about using Gerald Jones Auto Group for their new car purchase, DON’T! Aside from the fact that my BRAND NEW 2024 Atlas Cross Sport has required servicing twice and thousands in repairs, Gerald Jones Volkswagen service technicians took my car to Friday night dinner and home overnight. WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT! Thank God that my car has an app that alerts me about sneaky things they were doing! I hope they enjoyed Giuseppe’s while I was once again inconvenienced by my new car purchase. This is after a required “software update” 6 days into owning the car that took 15 days and $3,500 for a replacement part! Another shout up to God that there was a warranty on this thing! The whole establishment has taken advantage of me and my trust! There hasn’t been one apology for any of the inconveniences, only excuses! They truly do not care about the customer. We are just the padding in their pockets!

Had a VW warranty, and went in for my 2019 Atlas front end shaking. Sent me home with a $360 out-of-pocket diagnostic bill because THEY said I just needed 2 new tires and of course warranty doesn't cover that. The warranty expired a month later. Bought 2 new tires for $600. The problem still exist. Take it to AutoBan on Broad Street, guess what?!! It needs an entirely new steering shift that has BEEN the issue and now I am coming out-of-pocket for another $2000!!! This could've been handled correctly the FIRST time. Not to add that I have a recall that I scheduled to have corrected in April and they called me the day before my appointment to tell me that they are only fixing 2 a week and rescheduled my recall to AUGUST 28!

Spontaneously visited the VW dealership and ran into William walking in the front door. What an experience!! William made the process fun, and easy while we traded in our vehicles. William did not pressure us to do anything, he actually provided an environment where my wife and I could talk things over and make an informed decision. I can’t thank him enough!!!
I told my wife that I enjoyed working with him so much I’d happily buy another car from him!

My experience with this dealership was phenomenal! My salesperson Shalonda Calhoun was awesome, and she did exactly was she said she would do to help me get into the vehicle I chose! She went above and beyond to help me and I greatly appreciate that! If you’re in the market for a new car I would highly suggest Gerald Jones and highly suggest asking for Shalonda as your sales rep!

William was able to show us every make and model of car that interested us, and the fact that he had the ability to sell cars from over 10 different car lots opened our options tremendously. This was possibly one of the best vehicle purchasing expierence I’ve had in a long time. Sholanda Calhoun and the team were patient and I didn’t feel rushed to make a commitment. She addressed all of my concerns and was there from beginning to end. Awesome job.

I really wanted to purchase a two row version of the VW Tiguan, however our salesman, Ben, appeared to rush us into buying what was on the lot at the time in order to meet his end of month quota, rather than show us the one two row model he said was on the "back lot", or even try some other option, such as ordering one from another dealership. We made it very clear to Ben that we preferred the solid cargo space floor that the All Wheel Drive (AWD) two row, 5 seat model provides because we use this vehicle to carry 50 lb. bags of horse feed and other bulky supplies. The cargo area floor of the 7 seat model (we'll never use the third row of seats) is smaller than the 5 seat model and the Muddy Buddy cargo liner sits higher than the lip of the 7 seat's cargo space, which does not allow bags of feed to be pulled straight out of the cargo hatch, while the floor elevation is level with the opening of the 5 seat model, which would allow feed bags to be pulled straight out.

Just bought a new Taos from Ben at VW. I have bought many new vehicles and I have experienced most of all the sales tactics. Ben was the first salesman I’ve ever dealt with that keep the process as fair and honest as possible. We remained on the same page throughout the entire process, and he was more than helpful with all of the details of my particular deal, never skipped a beat. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I came in specifically for a white VW Atlas SEL R-Line 4 Motion and Ms. Shalonda Calhoun was the first person that greeted us. She was professional, friendly, inviting, and didn't pressure us. She did a fantastic job of giving details about vehicle and helped us purchase the vehicle. The GM, Ms. Vickie was professional, inviting, and very attentive as well. Very hospitable, professional, and clean car dealership. We had a great experience and highly recommend Ms. Shalonda.

So here’s the deal I was gonna make this a two star review but the dealership itself was nice and at first out sales lady was nice. We stopped in to look at a 2018 vw Passat it was a nice car from the pictures and my son was looking for a newer car than what he had! Haven brown is who we ended up talking to when we first showed up she was very nice and got the car for us to look at then we did a test drive during that drive we noticed the check engine light was on and when we got back we questioned this. Now this is where things for me and my wife started to kind of go in a different direction! She asked what we thought I said it’s a nice car but it has a check engine light on and I’d like to know why her response was it probably just needs an oil change! Now I’ve driven a ton of vw and tons of other cars and a change oil issue just doesn’t throw a check engine light! She repetitively told us she was 90% sure that’s what it was and asked if that light wasn’t on if we would buy it! I said I wasn’t sure as my son was still looking as he was uncertain on what he wanted(he’s only 18 and in the military) I asked again to have the check engine light checked incase my son was interested in buying said car and that he wanted to look around more. She acted as if after test driving the car he wasn’t allowed to walk away and look at anything else but that vw passat and that he needed to proceed with that deal. My son took me to the lot to show me another car he had previously looked at to ask my opinion she wasn’t very happy about that. The manager at vw came out to tell me the check engine light was on for a bad battery issue and that they replaced it and had the ecu flashed and programmed the new battery to the car and everything was fine.
My son was still unsure and I was okay with looking at other cars until he knew what he wanted. She showed us a few other cars in the computer in his range but acted annoyed that we were looking at other cars and not just buying the first car we test drove.
How a sales person thinks someone should buy the first car they test drive is beyond me. She was even more annoyed that my son wasn’t sure and wanted to browse the lot more. He’s used to having a Honda we know Hondas are good cars and after looking at budget and deals wanted to look at a new civic at this point she disappeared and I couldn’t tell her he went to look at a new civic as they have multiple brands on the lot.
The Honda sales guy told us she can’t sell new Hondas only used so he helped us but I will not put that in this review.
My biggest gripe is that she started out nice and cordial then went to pushy and annoyed that we didn’t buy the first car we looked at. It’s a huge purchase and my son is young and wanted his father and mother’s input.
I suggest some better person to person skills be looked into the start was great but once you had a hint you couldn’t close your attitude changed and not for the good. We are allowed to walk away from cars or deals we don’t like. She rubbed us the wrong way by way right after questioning the check engine light.
