I have been dealing with this pharmacy since it was first opened I have been a customer of the Kroger since 1983 when it first opened. I have never had any issues at all until today with Amy in the pharmacy. She was extremely rude. I had a prescription called in by my doctor yesterday. No one bothered to call me that it was ready for pick up. I called this afternoon and Amy was rude and obnoxious on the telephone. I went to the store to pick up my prescription. I stood waiting for a10 minutes while Amy socialized with another woman at the counter. They talked about everything under the sun and had a good old time. Instead of excusing herself to take care of a customer, she completely ignored me. When I did catch her attention she told me in a very rude way that I could wait.
After her friend left, she never said hello to me or asked how she could help me. I told her I was sorry I interrupted her socializing, but I need to pick up my prescription. She the got real nasty and started to rant about how bad my day was going. I had to ask her four times to just get my prescription that by the way was all ready paid for. She again said I could wait. That is when I threatened to call the manager. That is when Amy stated that she was the manager of the pharmacy! If that rude idiot worked for me, she would have been fired on the spot. I made a complaint to Matt one of the store managers, but he did not seem very interested. I have also made a complaint to the corporate office. Looking at other reviews on Google, it seems that Amy has a reputation for being rude to customers. I also noticed other complaints of rudeness from the pharmacy. I would be will to bet that if the source of the problem (Amy the manger) was fired, the rest of the problems might go away. Hey Kroger, remember you are not the only grocery store and pharmacy in the area!

I am highly disappointed with AMY in the pharmacy. She is very rude and nasty (on the phone and in person). She gave me the wrong dosage for my jardiance. I just started insulin and they didnt give me any supplies or instructions on how to administer to myself. I went up there to talk to her and she was the rudest and most nastiest person I have met. Horrible customer service!!

I’ve been using Kroger Pharmacy for 11 years now and not once have I ever had an issue with the pharmacy or any of their employees until today . Alexia working the pharmacy drive thru was very rude . I’m shocked as many years as I’ve had my prescriptions sent there I’ve never had anyone there be so rude or rude with a nasty attitude until today .

I will be contacting the Georgia Pharmacy Board regarding a specific pharmacist from this location. My child's doctor is contacting the Georgia Pharmacy Board as well. If a pharmacist could diagnose patients, they would be a Physician and would not need a prescription written by a PHYSICIAN, but as we all know, they are not. No pharmacist can tell me how to treat my child's condition over the physician who has known him since birth. If Amy Rodgers wanted to be a Physician-which is a person qualified to practice medicine. Pharmacists-dispense prescription medications and provide information to patients about the drugs and their use. Also, this pharmacist failed to provide a location with the medication she called herself refusing to fill even with this exact medication and dosage being filled for years at another location in GA for the same company. Not only did this happen but also tried to diagnose my child with medication he cannot take and is on file. Sadly, all that work in college did not teach her that extended-release supplies a dosage equal to what has been prescribed to my child. If KROGER Allows this unethical behavior then the company also needs to be investigated.

Never had a issue with my insurance covering my meds. The other Kroger Pharmacy on Washington Rd next to Lidl , I did not have a good experience. I transferred to Columbia Rd. Kroger Pharmacy. Great experience. When I get up to the window it does not take but about 5minutes and I am ready to go about my business.

I would definitely recommend this Kroger. The store is kept clean and items are always well stocked. There is a Starbucks inside as well if you care to indulge in a bank-busting treat now and then. ;-)I appreciate that the deli counter carries Boars Head cold cuts. The adjacent bakery section has a nice assortment of cakes, cookies, pies, and various other dessert items. Their breads are decent as well. There's an olive bar, and a hot food area as well. The seafood section has lots of fresh or frozen items to choose from. While the meat section is stocked throughout the day and everything looks fresh, there is a perpetual slightly foul smell in the meat aisle. I can never pinpoint where it's coming from exactly. I've never had an issue with any meats purchased. Just an observation though. The prices on average are a bit higher than Walmart on staple items like dairy and meats. IMHO, the meats are way overpriced on most items. Even compared to Publix, I find the meats to be higher priced at Kroger. The produce section is usually stocked with fresh items. No complaints at all. Their strawberries always seem to be the best quality I can find compared to Walmart or Publix. Same with the blueberries , and other berries. LAstly, I like that their mobile phone app lets you build your shopping list and claim coupons right in the app before you go to shop. Makes the shopping experience more enjoyable and rarely do I get home and say to myself, "Oh... I forgot to buy that!"Overall, I would recommend this location. :-)

Either these people worked or work in Kroger because I'm not buying it! The Store is Flimsey Compared to Kroger in grovetown and Publix! There was mildew in bathrooms! There is a water issue in this Store and it need attention from a inspector! This is not the only modesStore n Augusta! Serious health issue! Your walking kids in here for the deal not the quality or safety! Disgusting! Augusta is declining!

Every time I try to order a prescription for my Pop on the Kroger pharmacy phone line it orders additional prescriptions. Funny thing is every time I talk to someone there in the pharmacy they state they can not fix the problem. The young lady today stated that it was above her paygrade to pursue this problem. Wow! I told her I was so sorry that helping her customers was above her pay grade and that maybe she should tell her manager or Bryan, the Pharmacist since this is an annoying problem for customersand I would assume those that work in the pharmacy since they have to put the prescriptions back on the shelf.
