Would never ever purchase from this Belk in particular or online. The service was very subpar,I paid for expedited shipping & the item came late,after the item arrived 5 days late it was missing parts of it. I speak to 3 different representatives over the phone who tell me to bring the item in store for the return. I go in store to return it & two women come upfront & tell me I have to return the item online because they don’t carry it in store which is absolutely insane after spending an hour on the phone & someone specifically telling me to bring it to a Belk store. They can’t be trusted with a lower end item such as a Coach bag,I wouldn’t dare trust them with a higher end item.The quality & integrity of this chain is so far in the trash I would never shop here again.

Hi,
I just wanted to applaud your associate Ms. Venus (first name). She gave the absolute best customer service experience last week. She said she usually works in purses, but today she was checking out in the women's section. She was knowledgeable, nice, patient and humorous. She is the type of associate who will make you want to shop in this store again. Please give Ms. Venus a raise and her flowers for giving customers great experiences in this Fayetteville, GA store. Job well done!

Latam, the “Manager” is an absolute jerk. Had receipt for products, didn’t know how to operate the register to scan them and said he couldn’t find them on my Belk account. Told to wait for MAC rep. Then walked off. She had no problem and was able to return products with no problem. I’ll never shop at this location again. Nothing on Jonesboro Road.

This location exhibits and delivers a horrendous lack of service and the staff oozes with a piss poor attitude. I am truly sorry that I darkened their doorstep and inconvenienced them trying to spend my money.

An absolutely HORRIBLE FIRST BELK experience today. I went in for a pair of rain boots. I quickly learned that the store likely didn't have my size, but I figured I'd ask for help just in case.
The old lady at the counter opposite the show section was on her phone, so I patiently waited around. She continued to try acting like I was invisible, so I simply blurted out my question regarding the rain boots I was looking at. She was rude and sarcastic in her response (I'm 39 years old by the way and not 20 like I look), so as she ended her rude response, I followed up w/ a second question, to which she also responded rudely and I began making my exit... Absolutely glad that I put ZERO DOLLARS into such a horribly run & unprofessional retail establishment.
I DO NOT recommend this Belk location to anyone. Go where your customer presence will be acknowledged and appreciated.

Originally came in looking for a turtle neck sweater. Walked up to the cologne counter to purchase something new. Arrived at the same time as another customer, and the employee asked if I needed help. I told her I was looking for something new and asked if I could smell one of the colognes. She asked if I could wait until she finished with the other customer. No problem!! But after finishing with the customer, she continued her conversation with him and then walked off and started a conversation with the girl at the next counter while I was still waiting. The original customer reappeared with a female companion, and she started a new conversation with them. It became obvious that she wasn't going to serve use, and I decided to leave. It's not the first time I've been at Belk with bad service. Probably won't be going back.

I went in to buy me and my daughter some matching Christmas pjs . I found some so I went to go check out where I waited for a while then I get to the front and Debra tells me I can’t buy the bottoms to my pjs because I didn’t have the correct shirt that goes with it ! but the shirt was on the same rack that I got the bottoms on and it was on the mannequin. So I proceed to ask her if she could get someone to help me find the correct shirt and she told me because of the time she can’t do and it was only about 9:30 . And she said that she can’t leave the register cause she has a line . She was veryyy unprofessional and how can you turn a customer away . It was my first time at the McDonough location and it will be my last because that’s unacceptable!

McDonough Belk has the most nastiest, rude and unprofessional people working there. Last week was with my mom who is a frequent shopper there and while we were browsing in fragrances, the sales lady from a counter over rudely said “ yall want something” my mom and I looked at each other and spoke with our eyes as if to say she’s not talking to us b/c that’s not how you approach anyone. We then kept browsing, never saying anything to the sales lady but while talking with my mom saying I wonder if they have Jo Malone London the same rude sales lady was walking by and butted in the conversation saying nastily NO! My mom and I looked at each other again and walked over to bedding. I did buy 6 pillows because they were 50% off but the line was going down the aisle. The sales lady that was checking us out was moving with no sense of urgency. There were a few complaints in line.
Came back a week later with my children trying my luck in fragrance again. This time another saleslady ( different person) who was standing around doing nothing looked at me but didn’t speak or ask if I would like to test anything. I stood there patiently because the other sales lady was helping someone already. This time the sales lady who was doing nothing noticed me waiting and responded “what” I ignored her because I’d rather wait for someone who knows how to acknowledge a customer the correct way. While waiting another customer and I were discussing which fragrance we liked best. The rude sales lady then said “I can help who was next” but was looking at the other customer I was speaking to. The customer I was speaking to told the sales lady that I was next, the sales lady said to me “what can I help you with” I told her “nothing, I’ll wait for the other sales lady”. The rude sales lady went on to say “but she’s just a vendor”. At that point her rudeness blinded my willingness to do business with her. Once the other sales lady was finished with her customer, she helped me find a fragrance I was interested in, and even suggested the gift set because it was the same price for just the bottle. The customer I was speaking to in line said she’d like the same and the customer, myself, and the nice sales lady began taking about how good the fragrance smell. At that time the rude sales lady was helping someone else and my sales lady asked the rude sales lady if she can ring up the gift set for me and one for the customer behind me. The rude sales lady asked the sales lady helping me if she had any keys, in which she responded no. The rude sales lady walked off. Left her customer, didn’t say anything to my sales lady or anything. She was gone about 7mins., other people started browsing the counter and we at a stand still without a clue as to what was going on. I then asked my sales lady if anyone else could assist me with check out she apologized and said I’m not sure where she went but you can take it over to the Estée Lauder counter. After waiting in that line I had time to think and decided to take my business else where.
I like Belk as a company but McDonough, Ga’s location need employees who will represent their brand better or there will be money walking out the door. I hope this helps. If you shop there don’t expect much from their employees they act like they don’t want to be there.
P.S. also, the Mac kiosk inside hardly ever have a representative around. You’ll be waiting a while for assistance there too.

I placed an online order. It was ready in no time ! Louise was very helpful & friendly! She made sure I got what I needed I was not able to come inside & shop due to having my dog with me. I just needed one item & she made sure I got it! Thanks again
