“So so I'm sitting here in my car after the 11am service on 4/12, with this urge to write this review. And I hope the pastor reads this to reaffirm his faith, and know that God is working through him, and that new people understand my point of view.

I've not been to church in 15 years, and my life has spiraled into fleshly and worldly things. In the last few months I've decided to actually follow Jesus again for real. And Ive struggled from being an introvert, and a skeptic on which church I should go to on account of, that I want a church to actually learn and grow in Him, and I don't want a feel good service that is surface level.

I went to 2819 Atlanta, and I've looked at other churches, but even if they had good messages they felt like a feel good church and I wasn't going to learn and grow the way I wanted. So on my ride up here I prayed the same prayer I did to those others, specifically for discernment or a sign in knowing if this is a church where he wants me to go, where I can grow in Him, or this is just another feel-good Church.

Then, as I slip into the back row, not 20 minutes later the pastor's talking and calling out feel good churches, and wanting this church to tell the hard truths, and grow in the spirit, and get to the meat of it even if it's uncomfortable. And calling out worldly desires and dying to your flesh which is the exact same issue I've been going through these couple months.

He didn't have to say either of those topics today, but both of them happen to be today when I show up after 15 years and praying that exact prayer. So I just wanted to say whether or not you think it's just coincidence. I believe this church has God at its center, and the pastor was guided by Him to speak that specific message on this day.

I will be coming back to grow, and I hope others who have the same skepticism as me on which church to find, will consider this one, since I had my revelation that this church has God at the center.”
