I brought my 2010 Chevrolet Camaro to Elite Auto Collision Shop for what was initially described as a minor side fender repair. I was told it would be an easy fix and completed in under a week. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than 30 days of delays, shifting explanations, and technical jargon.
Over time, I was told there was “hidden interior damage” and that critical parts no longer existed anywhere in the country after a so-called nationwide search. The shop ultimately informed my insurance company that the car was not repairable and should be totaled. Had I not had knowledgeable people advising me otherwise, I may have accepted that conclusion.
I decided to get a second opinion. Another shop located the supposedly “unobtainable” parts within 30 minutes online and confirmed the vehicle was absolutely repairable. After significant back-and-forth with my insurance company, they agreed to let me move the vehicle. Once towed to the new shop, the repairs were completed in less than 5 days after parts arrived.
The second shop also showed me areas where Elite Auto Collision had started work but appeared unable to finish it properly. Welding had been initiated, but they lacked the skill or capacity to complete the repair—something that was never disclosed to me and likely contributed to the claim that the vehicle was “unrepairable.”
For context, my Camaro is highly customized and a true American muscle car. Losing it over a minor fender collision was never acceptable, and thankfully it didn’t come to that. I waited two months before posting this review to ensure no issues surfaced, and the car remains in excellent condition.
I will never return to this shop. I strongly encourage anyone using them to question claims that don’t make sense, especially when being told a vehicle can’t be repaired. I chose this shop only because there was no waiting period—something that, in hindsight, should have been a red flag.
A very long, frustrating, and expensive lesson learned.

I was T-boned on both passenger's side doors and rear in my 2017 Honda Civic. The damage affected the interior door frame.
The vehicle looks brand new! There is no mismatch. They ensured that the car was aligned as well due to the collision.
I did a lot of research before choosing their services and read other reviews. A friend also recommended Elite Collision. I would definitely recommend them. They gave me a timeframe and completed the repairs before schedule.

5 stars — Elite Collision Body Shop exceeded every expectation. They’ve been the go-to for my family and me for over a decade, and their workmanship, communication, and integrity remain outstanding. After a recent hit-and-run damaged my 2023 Lexus SUV, Russell and Laura handled the repairs and paintwork with professionalism and care. When a slight paint inconsistency appeared, they personally took extra steps to correct it and ensured the finish on my bumper and adjoining panel was perfect. Didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about this place from the start. Appeared disinterested in helping me. Sat in lobby for 15 mins while the one guy out of many stopped and asked how he could help; proceeded to take pictures of the entire vehicle; told me that he'd never seen a car door that was hard to open before; told me his name after I asked him first and never did ask for mine; gave me a card and said that someone would get back with me; and nearly a week later sends me an outlandish quote of nearly $400 to make the door easier to open. No thanks!

I had nothing but an outstanding experience with Elite & their staff when trying to get my mirror fixed! I got side swiped on my way to work one night, luckily only the mirror took damage. I took it to Elite the next day, we ordered the part, & then once my new mirror came in they sampled my paint to get an exact match & had it looking brand new all in one day. Hopefully I won’t have to go back, but if I do, I know where I can go for good quality & reasonably priced work!

I was very pleased with my service from Elite Collision. Very professional and thorough. I was rear ended and getting repairs through a third party insurance but they made the whole process very smooth. They also went above and beyond giving me a ride to the rental car company at drop off and taking my rental back at pickup. I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of repairs going forward.
