So I was at checkout and the cashier was as nice as she could be and greeted us coming up. The thing I didn't like was that I had to bag my own groceries while I saw 5 employees standing around on their phones. One I know was on the clock because I saw him outside getting shopping carts and walked out in front of us making us have to hit our brakes to avoid hitting him, eventhough he looked both ways and saw us coming

I've shopped at this Kroger since it opened over 20 years ago. The new store is clean, well stocked and thanks to the app it's easy to find the right isle for all my favorite items and I LOVE the new departments! The ENTIRE staff is super friendly and extremely professional. I appreciate everyone (sorry I cant remember everyones name)... Ms Gabby, Ms Aisha, Mr Jeremy, Ms Nancy, Ms Cathy and ALL the amazing deli staff; Mr Don, Ms Stephanie, Mr Milton, Mr Broderick and ALL the incredible produce staff; to Mr Doc and all the foks in the meat dept; Ms Sylvia, Ms Nadine, Ms Cindy, Ms Monique and the ENTIRE fabulous front end staff! It is still my favorite grocery store in our community!

Super disappointed with my experience today. I was at the deli getting my meats cut and needed ham and cheese. After a super sweet younger girl sliced my ham, I asked for my cheese to be sliced and an older woman told her they were “closed” and couldn’t complete my request. I called beforehand and asked what time they closed and I was told 8. When the older woman told me they were closed, it was 7:57. All I needed was a 3/4 pound of cheese. Next time I’ll go to Publix

Never work at grocery pick-up at Kroger, Union Grove Crossroads. It doesn’t let me review the new store that this review is regarded to, so the old store it is.
This one star goes to pick-up, not the entire store. The store gets 5 stars. As an employee, I can say every single person there is nice except for one “leader” who will call you off the clock and harass you over the phone if you just so dare to substitute 2 items that were not in the store without her permission, or if you dare to clock out a couple minutes early.
If you substitute without permission, the store and district leader will be called on you, and you will be blamed for causing the percentage of items we have to be too low. And I know the only reason they truly care is because they get financial bonuses when the percentage is consistently high enough. It is never about the people folks.
In all my life, I have never seen a clicklist “leader” so petty and rude to employees, and despite everyone’s vocal disdain of her and despite multiple complaints to managers, it is evident that none of them believe us, as she continues belittle and demean trainees who are still learning the ropes as if we are somehow lesser than her.
She will nitpick every single thing you do “wrong” and explain how to do it right in the most rude tone possible. Humans make mistakes, so treat those mistakes with grace if you really want someone to grow. I’m fine with doing things differently, but that is not how you train people, as you cannot train those who resent even approaching you.
By another leader, you will also be shouted at and be called rude if you didn’t say “hi” as you walked in because you’re on autopilot and not thinking about it. Those who know me know that I am pretty nice guy, but my brain’s inefficiency to say hi is certainly a far cry from the “rudeness” and therefore hypocrisy they themselves portray.
There have been times where I’ve need to go off of my break because leaders were not at their post to take orders to cars, like they are supposed to be. Yet when they are there, they usually stare at their phone, call and talk to people, bark orders, and hardly pick items. We get in trouble if we’re not out there working at all times, so this hypocrisy stands out like a sore thumb.
There are so many other examples of hypocrisy and harassment. And I’m convinced these people just want me fired because I’m the only one who stands up to them. Again, those who know me know that I am a fair and moral person if you show the same energy, so wow, does it come as a surprise to be treated like I’m in North Korea. I realize posting this risks my job, but here’s hoping Kroger isn’t that corrupt.

This is for Kroger on Jonesboro Rd. McDonough. Please CLOSE this store and fire management. It's nasty!!! From shitty diapers under check out conveyors to rotten broccoli in my veggi tray that stunk up my cart, the whole front end of the store and almost my car. I will never step foot in it again.

I frequently shop at this Kroger and have cobalt decided to leave a review. The check out cashiers and baggers are really nice and courteous but the ironically the customer service desk lacks customer service. I've had the unpleasant experience of purchasing items that have expired months ago and even two years ago. I'm not sure how it even stays on the shelf that long. Recently when I returned the expired items, the customer service staffer showed no concern at all. The manager doesn't even seem to have customer service awareness. I'm excited about the new Kroger being built across the street but if they take the same behaviors and staff it won't be any improvement. This Kroger is very frequently understocked. I often have regrettable experiences here. For the Kroger pickup they sometimes don't read my notes.

Damn… I hear this store is going down hill just like the other one in McDonough on the other side of the city.. sheesh and could only the new one there building could be better Than the worst. # Mangers don’t really give a damn about the Reviews . Wish they could learn to Reflect on how they treat other people than just their Money ?.
