I really hate to make this review but, I have too. I called into Allstate (Raleigh answered) to increase my insurance. I have never seen coverage so low. I initially signed up via 800#, Raleigh agreed coverage was very low and blamed it on the 800 CS. However, I’ve been with them 2+ years and no one ever thought about making the proper changes that benefits me as a consumer. Moving forward I asked Raleigh for quotes if I increase he gave me a quote so I asked him to send me Dec Page for proof he stated he couldn’t and his staff was gone. He referred me to the 800# for a Dec Page. So I just said no worries I’ll call them for it all. So I mentioned concerns about my roof and how my ceiling was leaking he said they don’t give out free roofs they only replace shingles in the area where the leakage is because a lot of times it’s wear and tear from home owner not taking care of property. I started disagreeing with him and asking what having insurance and coverage for if you can’t help when I need it. He verbally insulted me how of no where and call me argumentative and accused me of talking over him and I don’t know what I’m talking about he’s been in business for 22+ years. I’m really loss for words with the “FREE ROOF” have I been giving you “FREE MONEY” since there’s been no claims or have I been paying premiums in case of a time like this. I don’t like it, the experience overall. I also remembered about a year ago when I was strucked from behind and I called there office and his daughter told me not to make a claim let their insurance pay for it because if my insurance (them, Allstate, Raleigh’s office) have to pay, my insurance will increase. I should have reported and changed when that happened but the other ins paid so I didn’t bother.

Allstate is not the company it use to be. Stay away, they will not pay out for property claims. Ask anyone who has Allstate and ever submitted a claim. This office was taken over by a previous owner which is out I got stuck with them. Car insurance is extremely high which I’m in the process of switching and actually saved a lot of money. If you do a little research on Allstate and paying claims you will quickly see Allstate will do anything possible to prevent paying a claim. I’m not making this up just go do your own research. Raleigh and team will also under insure you and this is one of their tactics for home insurance. Don’t fall for it as it will cost you more in the long run. Lastly, when I called the office for help they were rude provided no guidance and basically told me to call the 800 number. This has not been the case with travelers on a previous home. Customer service is bad and I cannot stress the importance of doing your homework on Allstate prior to signing up. And if the agency wants to blame Allstate then they should have a voice to fight for their clients because this is a bad representation on all parties. Raleigh is not excluded - this office is also part of the problem.

I just got off the phone with Raleigh Williams himself. Wow save yourself from being talked to like a child. I sold insurance for 3 years and this is not how you treat customers. I called to transfer my policies to a different agent because I moved. They said they cannot do that and I need to call the 1800 number. I couldn’t do that they eventually said after trying because it will automatically transfer me to them. Then, I asked if I could edit my policy. Raleigh Williams told me I can’t do that because now oops his computer locked up and all his agents are on the other line. I asked what does it mean that his computer “locked” up? He then got upset yelling at me that that means he has to reboot it and will not help me. Wouldn’t you just say give me a minute while I reboot my computer so I can help my customer? I would have waited… Stay far away from this Agent.
