Second visit to Ulta salon. First time for cut, loved it so much I went back to same stylist for color. It can be really hard to find a stylist you love at a chain. The chains can have a hard time hanging on to stylists. Khrista was amazing both from customer service and bedside manner. Fingers crossed this location can hang on to her!

Went into store to look for a new perfume, I know they are all locked up but I wasn’t able to test all the ones I wanted to because the sales associate seemed overwhelmed. When I asked for the last Marc Jacob perfume she told me it wasn’t a test for that but I was look at it on the case. Can you guys come up with another policy? I asked for samples during my checkout and the lady said to me like what lol then said no we are all out of samples for now.

I wasn’t going to write this, but I just can’t “let it go”! I was over-charged at the Salon in McDonough! About 3 weeks ago I booked an appointment online for a Balayage, cut and style. The estimated cost online was $187 but based on my previous experiences I budgeted for around $250 (I've gotten my hair colored here for MANY years!). During the consultation I swear the stylist said she would do everything for $42/hour for an estimated 4.5-5 hours. This would have been in-line with what I was expecting it to be. But when it was all said and done, I about had a stroke in the store then the bill was $467! (because now the price is per ½ hour) I DID question it! I said, “I thought you said every HOUR?” Because there’s no way hell, I would have ever agreed to pay $84/hour! I barely had enough money to cover it. I was so upset I was sick to my stomach. I came home and called corporate immediately because I felt surely there had been a mistake. Let me interject that this has nothing to do with the stylist. She was very nice and professional, and she did do a good job but, I would have just NEVER agreed to pay that! I would have politely declined and said, “I’m sorry, I can’t afford that!” The person I spoke to at the corporate office said that someone from the regional office would get back with me (no one ever has). The following week the Stylist that I normally see called and asked how things went (I was originally supposed to see her, but she couldn’t be there). I told her everything went well, and I liked my hair but, I was concerned that I was over-charged. She AGREED and told me to call the salon manager. I did and was told “I was charged exactly what I should have been since my hair was damaged and I had to have a lot cut off” (which is a lie because from the root down to about 1 1/2" was my natural hair, the bottom was the remnants of pink color from 2022 and she only TRIMMED about ½” and put in some layers). She then tells me that if I’ve been charged less in the past then I wasn’t charged correctly, and that I’ve been doing a disservice to my stylists all these years by not valuing their time and not paying enough! I told her what “my stylist” had said and the response was “even if you had seen her, I would have made sure you were charged correctly.” I also explained that I had spoken to several friends, family members and other stylists in the area about what those services would cost (including the cut/style) or what they would expect to pay, and they’ve all said, “around $200”. EVERYONE that I’ve talked to about this agrees with me in that I was over-charged. In fact, their responses are “HOLY {explicative}!” I couldn’t even get an apology, I got a condescending “we’re sorry you misunderstood, but you were charged exactly what you should have been!” And then made to feel like I’m a terrible person because I’ve paid less in the past. Well, I guarantee it won’t happen again and I would advise anyone patronizing this salon to get the price in writing up front.

On Saturday 12/30/2023 I received the best make over by a young lady named Vanessa in the Hampton/McDonough area. At first I was skeptical about doing this due to me not ever getting my face done at Ultra beauty. When I asked Vanessa for a natural look she scored. My family loved the look. When I tell you she hit that natural look she did thatThank you VanessaSee you next time when I am in the areaToya

I’ve been to this Ulta and never had an issue before until tonight. Kylie who had took my friend and I, was very rude at the register. She didn’t greet both of us and her tone was very hostile when she had spoken. Kylie also threw our receipt and along with our items on the counter. I hope the company retrain Kylie on her customer service skills.

The middle aged worker with bad makeup who checked me out was impatient and incompetent. She was probably new but don't get frustrated with me when you don't know how to work the system. ?♀️

Very helpful and patient associates working at this location! Came shopping here about a week ago and the manager that helped me was really nice and helpful. Everyone had a nice and positive attitude! As a consumer things can get a little irritating when you can’t find what you are looking for, but at this location they go above and beyond to help!

I have been shopping at Ulta for 16 years and I hate that they closed the Fayetteville store. Yesterday, the associate manager wasn’t helpful when trying to purchase a flat iron it was two different prices because one was 5” expandable and the other wasn’t rather just checking or even offering to do it online and have it shipped to the store she just dismiss me altogether. I get the register and got id to use $36 when it’s $50 or more you have show identification when using your points. I cancelled the transaction and I asked the girl to explained to the manger why and she was like it doesn’t matter. Called customer care and nothing happened. Called the store and spoke to the manager and she explained it could have gone better and apologized and I explained to her that truly not good enough and asked could I speak to the GM and she was like well we are not going to fire them and I said miss I never asked you to fire anyone. I would never request someone to be terminated that’s cold hearted and rude. It’s clear the culture of this store is poor and they don’t know how to treat people. Ulta has been going down for a while now I won’t be giving them my business anymore. I will shop elsewhere. Ulta can thank this store for that. You can buy from the direct Retailer.
