“I made several questionable decisions today they’ll be detailed below, but stopping here certainly wasn’t one of them!So…I bought a 20 year old Jeep sight unseen in an online auction last week, and drove to the little town in South Georgia where it was located to pick it up today with a buddy. The Jeep was exactly what I expected, 20 years old, and probably not interstate worthy. Therefore, I did what any 40 something year old dad would do, put the top down, and planned to head home to the Athens area via the “back roads”. As I slowed from my top speed of 61 miles per hour for the school zone at Telfair County High School I heard a noise, then felt a shake. Something was amiss with my new ride.So, as you’d expect, I did what any 40 something year old dad would do. Pulled into a parking lot, looked underneath it, and realizing I had no chance of fixing it googled “car repair near me”. B&B was 0.9 mile away so I limped there.
