I recently visited Trap ell Tomlinson and had a rather disappointing experience at the register. The **cashier was quite rude**, displaying a clear lack of customer service. Their demeanor made the checkout process unpleasant and frustrating. They give me the wrong change I was $20 short, and they treated me with no respect!
Thankfully, the situation was completely turned around by **the owner**, who stepped in and resolved the issue with **exceptional politeness and efficiency**. It's clear the owner understands what good customer service looks like.
While I appreciate the owner's intervention, it highlights a need for better training. These **employees need to be trained** on basic customer interaction and etiquette to prevent similar incidents in the future. I hope to see an improvement, as the owner's commitment to customer satisfaction truly shone through.

I drove 45 minutes to pick something up that said: Ready for Pickup. They didn't have it. They should keep up with inventory or don't use it on website.

Love the hometown feel of this store. Great people and a great place for all your hardware needs, as well as ammo. I like shopping locally instead of spending money at huge retailers.

Bought a lock here, went online later that night & same exact lock was selling for under $10. I paid $20. I'm sorry, that type of markup is crazy. I understand needing to make a profit, but that type of markup is a bit extreme, in my opinion. Staff was helpful & attentive.

If they want to stay in business they're going to have to be at least a little competitive on the pricing on lumber. We all know local keeping it Local for the community is great. But Lowe's and Andy's.
Is a lot better pricing. The bill was 290 I would have saved 100 dollars at one of the other stores

We love ACE HARDWARE! Trent, Andy, Cleavy, and the older gentleman in there are always willing to help, and they are pretty knowledgeable in anything you ask about. If they don't know, then someone there does. They have just about anything you need. Just no plants...lol

If you're looking for hard to find items, this is the place to start. The employees are very knowledgeable and usually can suggest replacement parts that will work if the exact item isn't available or discontinued.
