My cousin and I found this jewel of small town Georgia by accident looking for a liquor store while on I-16, and what we found was an atmosphere that is a true representation of Southern hospitality, Georgia style. What was once a liquor store had been changed into the coziest bar I have ever been to in my life. We were outsiders, but by the time we left, we felt as if we were regulars.

What a night last night was!
We're from NW Georgia, passing through in the semi. We did stop at Grady's truck stop first, but the diner was closed. So we dropped the trailer and bobtailed over to Ray's.
There is parking up front and in the back. We were greeted very nicely by the bartender - I *think* her name was Vanessa? Anyway - she was amazingly nice.
The owners, Rick and Donna came in and immediately saw new faces, so they came to introduce themselves and we chatted for a long while.
The locals started coming in and all followed suit - introducing themselves to us and just chatting and hanging out.
Literally every person we met last night were amazing. We will DEFINITELY stop by next time we are out this way again.
And hey - they have an rv park out back so park and have a blast without worry on your travels!

Moved to Statesboro recently from Ft. Benning. Wasn't ready for the dry county to say the least. Friendly staff, customer service was amazing, recommendations were great, prices were fair. Most likely my go to package store and bar for now on.
