I didn't get a reminder that I was late but that was not there fault and that they were going to have it cut back on quickly and that they did

It took calling back 4 times before I was told about a rule that I cannot find listed anywhere. The woman on the line laughed at me and seemed very happy to tell me that I could not do an extension. I don’t normally ever post reviews but this isn’t the first time I’ve felt like I’m bothering them by engaging with them and as a customer that’s not okay.

I had arranged for my water to be cut off at the end of the month called back in a week later to have that canceled because I wasn’t moving yet and the water got cut off on the date I arranged because it had not yet been canceled by the staff, but they came immediately after my call to restore my water. Very satisfied and heard.

Calling this place was an awful experience. Don’t really ever make reviews but I had to for this one

Milledgeville was founded in 1803 and was the Capital of Georgia many years ago. The downtown area is charming and has a nice line up of delicious restaurants, bars and eclectic mix of shopping that caters to the locals, tourists and students from three colleges. Outside of downtown it is all about historical sites, hiking and water activities on Lake Sinclair. The locals are close knit, welcoming and friendly. Milledgeville has most of the chain restaurants and stores, a mall, AMC Theatre, Kroger and a Publix that is in the process of opening.

One would think that if the school system can notify every single person if there is a school holiday, weather day, etc. even if they don’t have kids in the system, that the city could notify customers of outages. There is a broken water main in our area. It would have been helpful to have been notified so we could fill up some containers so we could at least have water for our pets and brush our teeth. They very quickly contact us if our bill is late, so they can’t say they don’t have the wherewithal to notify customers of a problem.

You cant call them all of a sudden... well you can call but its asking me for my area code and phone number.. then it asks for a pin ive never created ... so how thr hell am i supposed to find out about my account without going in to see them which is typically a 90 minute adventure not including the drive or the time it takes to find a parking spot... absolutely idiotic to handle calls this way! Essentially theyve elected not to take calls from new clients!

Great customer service from the beginning to the end. I just moved here and due to some lingering issues from having Covid the mobility in my left leg is awful. I sent my daughter in to get the application. Ms Brown personally walked to my car to assist me. It was a smooth transition. ?

Since the Water Company is located in the City Hall building, and not too far from where I live, I've taken to dropping the monthly payments off in person. Now, one great thing about this location, they must have taken over an old, defuncted bank, as there is both, a 24 Hour Drop Box, and a Drive-thru Window. Both, of which are very helpful. Especially, in inclement weather.

Poor customer service, overpriced for the quality. Been without water many times over past year. Many times water brown and has bad chemical oders.
