The Stop, managed by Tonya Francis, was the perfect space—clean, spacious, and welcoming. The atmosphere was just right for our celebration.

A special thank you to Shanteria Coffee, who brought the vision to life with her stunning welcome sign/backdrop to help complete the overall theme. The space was completely transformed and every detail from the color scheme to the layout was beautifully executed. The creativity and professionalism truly set the tone for this memorable event.

“I can’t say enough good things about Simply Southern Barn and Ms. Sheila! They truly made Cassie and Petey’s wedding a dream come true. The venue is absolutely beautiful, featuring plenty of space for dining, dancing, and the ceremony, along with a DJ stage.

There are separate suites for the bridal party and groom, as well as a kitchen and bar for convenience. The outdoor area is stunning, complete with a pond, fountain, and several gorgeous photo spots that enhance the overall experience.

Ms. Sheila is a joy to work with; she puts in so much effort to ensure everything goes perfectly. I highly recommend Simply Southern Barn in Milledgeville to anyone planning a wedding or special event. You won't be disappointed!”

“We love finding beautiful historic homes when traveling that offer something other than cookie cutter hotel rooms. The Rockwell House is this gem of a find. We were at first disappointed that the home was not in the downtown area of other historic homes but once we entered he home we were thrilled. The attention to detail, comfort, updating and authenticity is amazing. We were the only guests so did take a perk at all the rooms - any if them would have been perfect but we were in The Blue Room and it was grand. If Rockwell House is still operating as an inn the next time we travel through Millegeville we will definitely stay again.”
