Do not provide your private information to this organization. My church referred me for assistance with my rent. I contacted them, and they requested all my bills, statements, tax documents, etc. I communicated with them for close to 3 weeks, calling in to make sure they had everything that was needed. Finally, they were satisfied with the amount of personal information submitted, and it was moved to the 'investigative' side of things. After waiting another week, I received a call stating that my rent was higher than the amount they were willing to assist with. I feel they were extremely dishonest from the start, knowing that my rent exceeded what they could help with, yet still gathering all of my private information. This gave false hope and prolonged the process for 3 weeks. For a Christian organization, they are very unhelpful within their community. They likely need to be legally investigated to determine what they are doing with all the information they gather

I am so very hurt by the way FISH has treated me. Honestly, I'm in tears because they assumed I was lying about my income. I gave them so much personal information which took alot. Then they told me bring more. It is supposed to be a 3 to 7 day wait but it's been 18 days now and they still don't believe me and wdnt tell me why they just said it's still being processed. This was for my electric bill. I will be turned off in a few days. I DONT believe they are a Christian organization. I've hardly ever been treated so badly. I will not get help I am sure ??

They help with food and will help with 1 bill no mone then 150 once a year . They also do not have pet food , no animal food .

These people care nothing about doing gods work. They are rude, disrespectful and treat you like you’re nothing. United Way needs to pull from them. I know someone who use this who desperately needed the help and they denied them and told them you don’t have the money anyway, so what’s the point in us helping you. When I called to say that they were rude I was hung up on. I will be reporting this. This is not gods work if you treat people terrible.

These people that answer the phone can't understand the English language. When you explain your situation they act like you are making up a story. The lady that answered the calls is rude. Idk, what I have to prove to get the one box a month they think will feed my family of 4. They don't ask any questions or give a damn. I am an actual mother asking for help and I also have Native blood and they give me 2 small bags for emergency food. I one only had 2 things and the other only 2 ramen noodle packs and 4 cans of food. I am not exaggerating. When we got there no one greeted us and I even heard her say she forgot to write us down. I called her days ago. They act like people are criminals. You know what volunteers are supposed to be kind. These women are mean and nasty. You are representing Jesus. Act accordingly. Man go anywhere, but fish especially Monroe.
