Less than impressed with their ability to identify and treat issues with pets. If you only need vaccinations, they can do it just fine. If a real diagnosis is needed would recommend elsewhere. After talking with numerous others I found that my experience is not isolated. Unfortunate.

I brought my cat for help with possible ear infection. After three visits with antibiotics, X-rays, labs, and two different doctors (Nix and Anderson) seeing us within two months we ended up at a different local veterinary hospital to actually be diagnosed with a small tissue mass present and euthanasia as the result. This clinic wasted our time and money! Do not bother to trust this place who is only interested in the payment of your visit which was always discussed first. They take your pet to a back room and you pay for whatever they did or didn’t do because nothing is done in your presence. Careless and unethical.

Buster loved everyone there, and I was instantly comfortable! Everyone was so welcoming! Kalani and Haleigh met us in the lobby to greet us and get to know us. They listened to my concerns about previous groomers and the problems I've had. They made me feel heard and comfortable knowing they understood my concerns.
Buster looks great and is feeling much more comfortable without all the extra fur and can see again. ?
I will be moving all future services for Buster here!

Excellent service and professionalism for 10 years with our fur fam. Maggie, Skrunkle, Murdock, and Little Trudy love the doctors and staff here. It's also a beautiful, well-maintained office. We are so grateful to have them.

We bring our two German Shepard here. They are on the larger side so we make appointments either first or last of the day but the staff is always friendly and the vets are always nice and patient with the dogs. Have been bringing them here for 6 years now and have nothing bad to say

My first time at this clinic with a new puppy and I was very impressed! Upon arrival, the front desk staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We got into an exam room quickly and the vet tech was very informative, answered all of my questions, and was up-front about what would be done and the charges. Dr. Richardson was so pleasant and kind too! I didn’t feel rushed or dismissed at all.
It’s clear that the entire staff genuinely cares for their clients and I’m so grateful I decided to try them out!! Love Monroe Veterinary Clinic!

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!! BEING TREATED LIKE AN INCOMPETENT FOOL DOES NOT FEEL GOOD!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND WON’T WORK WITH YOU!!!!! This is a long read but I just have to share my experience. Hopefully no one else will have to experience the same!!! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!! I took my cat Kevin up here Thursday of last week. I explained to the CSR staff that he is extremely lethargic, not eating or drinking and hasn’t for a FEW DAYS. I explicitly asked if it was possible to get bloodwork and/or some fluids in him and see if his liver levels were elevated. (I suspected he ate something toxic WHICH TENDS TO SHOW UP ON BLOODWORK) I explained that I have knowledge in vet medicine because I work very closely with other practicing techs and veterinarians and have a strong relationship with the supervisor of our clinic. Dr. Anderson came in our room and briefly spoke with us on Kevin’s condition. I again asked for bloodwork to be ran and asked about fluids due to how dehydrated he was from not eating or drinking in several days. Dr. Anderson assured us they would take a thorough look at Kevin. We spent about 75 minutes in total there for them to tell us they had no answers. NO ANSWERS FOR OUR SICK LETHARGIC DEHYDRATED ANIMAL AND SENT HIM HOME!!!!???!!! Chalked it up to him being kicked by a horse?!?!!! WE DONT OWN HORSES???? If a 1,500 hundred pound animal kicked my 12 pound cat I think there would be evident signs. Got the bill and GUESS WHAT??? THEY DIDN’T RUN BLOODWORK WHICH IS CRUCIAL(not to mention STANDARD PRACTICE????) SOOOOO I am very very upset at this point. We had to take kevin to a E vet where he in a 48 hour span was running a fever of 104.7. We were worried about having to euthanize our cat because standard protocol wasn’t done the day we took him in. AND GET THIS!!! THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO GIVE ME ANY OF MY MONEY BACK. THEY STATED THEY DON’T DO REFUNDS… I WASN'T ASKING FOR MY FULL 470 DOLLARS JUST ENOUGH SO WE COULD GET BLOODWORK DONE SOMEWHERE ELSE TO A PLACE THAT WOULDN'T NEGLECT THE CARE OF OUR ANIMAL AND TAKE HIS CARE MORE SERIOUSLY. The owner herself told us she wanted us to bring him back. Made excuses for her Vets and didn’t even want to try and work with me. She continued to contradict herself over the phone and made excuses for the lack of care we received on Thursday. Sucks when even the owner is too prideful to admit a mistake and give you a partial refund. I understand we are all people but where’s the accountability????Good Job Monroe Vet. I’m going to share this story and let everyone know how dirty you did us. Shame on you Dr.Mitchell.

Having a reactive dog I was very nervous about bringing my dog around others. The team went above and beyond to make sure that everything was handled safely for not only my dog but others as well. We were both put at ease by everyone’s helpfulness and calmness. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know with a furry friend!

Dr.Miller and her team were compassionate to us on one of the worst days of our life. They took time with our sweet Cleo and helped us navigate letting her go peacefully. Couldn't have asked for a kinder experience and they even picked flowers for our girl. We hadn't even met them before that day as her regular vet was closed. We will definitely be returning to them for any future care..thank all of you

Horrible place my dog has gone here over a year and hates it there! So we schedule an apt for 7:30 am then they call us at 12 saying they just got done with shots and going to cut her hair next mean while had my dog locked up for 5 hrs waiting on shots! I will never ever ever come back here and don’t recommend any one else too!
