The reviews are correct. There is an insane wait time. They open at 7am, but I did not see progress with any cars until 9:30am. I went for an oil change and brake inspection. They charged me $10 for the inspection although signs in the store stated it was free. I didn't make a fuss, because I had someplace to be. They also quoted me approximately $900 for brake work. I declined the brake services and went on my way 3 hours after arriving.
I believe their business model is to make you wait as long as possible so when they give you the quote you feel obligated to pay it as to not to continuously waste your time. So sad. I actually use to frequent Firestone in the past the service has definitely declined.
I will state that the gentleman that assisted me was nice, but that did not counteract the time wasted.

I've almost always been pleased with my service at Firestone in Morrow. I would like for them to contact a customer if they are having to keep the vehicle for more than a day after drop off. I had to call to see what the status of my car and repair were since I was originally told they would be able to finish it that day. I understand that there were issues with the repair but a call to let me know that would have been greatly appreciated. Other than that one thing they are extremely professional and let me know the exact details of the repair.

Customer service is great and the staff is very attentive to questions and concerns! They have great communication about informing you if anything changes from the original service requested. I will absolutely continue to do business with Firestone at 1031 Mt. Zion Rd in Jonesboro

My family with 2 young children set out on our first weeklong road trip. On day 2, we noticed some smells and smoke with our front right brake. This was immediately frustrating because we had just replaced the brakes, rotors, and that caliper a month prior. Knowing that we were 1.5 days away from home, and still had several days and hundreds of miles left, we called around to different mechanics on Friday at 4 pm. Chris at Mt Zion Road Firestone said that they could get us back on the road that evening.
We booked it to them safely, they confirmed our brake issues, then Alen replaced the front brakes, rotors and calipers. He stayed 3 hours late to get us back on the road, and took time to fine tune things at the very end. Meanwhile, Chris helped us entertain 2 young boys by letting them play with balloons, the kid’s toys, and even blew up some inflatable tires! The hours passed quickly, and we left at 10 pm, having been extremely well cared-for.
Chris and Alen, you two were literal answers to prayers. And you both were so kind and joyful while staying so so late on a Friday. We have had no brake issues since the repair. When we recall this first road trip, we will groan at having brake issues. BUT we will also quickly remember what fun we had while waiting, the patience you gave 2 energetic boys, the quality of the repair job, and the Christian kindness you showed. Thank you, thank you, and God bless!

Recently got 4 new tires from this shop. Chris took care the entire process and it was seemless barely even waited. Soon as I got up the road about ten mins up the road my sensor went off for low tire pressure in one of my tires. I figured the sensor was off because I just got them replaced so I set them and paid it no mind. I noticed the sensor went off a few more times so I decided to get the tire checked and there was a nail in the tire that's had been there since I left. Went back got a patch and soon still was losing pressure in the tire so he called around for legit hours and got one from another store and put it on my car same day. True businessman and leader. Can't thank him enough

Horrible! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! going here that’s exactly what you’re going to do if you go here. 3 hours for an oil change is ludicrous!!!!!! this was upon opening. So many workers there just walking around doing absolutely nothing. I think they do that to work on as few cars as possible. If they work faster that means more people and they dont want that. I’m so pissed that my morning was ruined by spending an insane amount of time here for a simple oil change. I would have done it myself but it was a fleet. So many customers walked out and most the ones there were there from the day before because their cars were not functioning properly. Just shut this place down at this point. They dont keep you updated on the wait time or how much longer they think it will be. They act like you aren’t even there. Customer service is lacking big time at this place. I wish undercover boss would do an episode here.
