I took my 2008 Chevy Silverado to them last year. I was going to buy a new transmission and have them put it in. They talked me into getting it rebuilt for 2400 total. It took 3 weeks to get my truck back. And when I did I instantly knew something was not right. It was jerking hard in second gear. I told them and they assured me nothing was wrong. So I drove it for a year. As soon as the year warranty went out. It stopped working. Took it back. They put another bad transmission in for 350 and wanted 1500 for a warranty. So I just paid the 350. Soon as I left I knew that transmission was bad also. They are a complete ripoff!! I would not recommend them to anyone for transmission work. STAY AWAY!!

Whew, when I walked in, I felt like I stepped back about 50 years. It was very dated and had a very strong odor. No one greeted me for several minutes. Then, when someone came, I felt my business was not wanted. I was quoted $150 just to look at my car although I knew the problem just needed the repairs.

Take their time and do quality work. They said 2-3 weeks it took 2.5 but it's worth every minute and 3very penny.

Although it did take a while to get the transmission replaced I am so grateful I was referred to Tyson at Lake City Transmission. Work was done and I have a 1 year warranty.

Huge shout out to Lake City Transmissions. I have a 68 Camaro with a leaky Powerglide. Most shops refused to work on it. David and the crew not only fixed it for far less than I anticipated but also stored my car indoors while it waited to be repaired. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Super honest and the best transmission shop around.

I plan to use them because they help me recently remove my car from the road I was in distress and they came to my rescue and they were very kind and they did everything they could to help me and provided a recommendation for me on how to handle my car With the company that previously worked on it and if there were any future problems, they said that they would be glad to help me with my issue if it was required for their work to be done, and I just appreciate the courtesy and the kindness in the care, special care they gave me

Excellent customer service.Experienced and knowledgeable.Top notch!They fixed a long running problem created by another transmission chain of who shall not be named...?... who put wrong parts on my vehicle.A-M-O put a torque converter of a smaller vehicle on my vehicle.All sorts of issues ensued.Lake City Transmission remedied the problem in great time!Majorly recommended!?
