This place was like a city within a city! So neat to see something like this in the south. Being from Long Beach California I thought I'd see a store this big back home. Their home blended seasonings are ridiculous!!! They are on point! Fresh fish, exotic meats... What more can I say??! You have to experience this market. It will fulfill every tastebud

A very competitive farmers market to others in the Atlanta area, as this site is in South Atlanta. Clean and bright, and had a very large selection of food and home items. Their produce selection is very diverse, though depending on what you choose can be expensive. But that's what you get with rare, in demand items. You can spend a lot of time there and we hope to get back sooner than later. Competent and friendly staff also.

Other than being very crowded on the weekend, the market was clean and well stocked. We found a lot of what we needed for our Christmas dinner and then some. The prices are very reasonable. They had stockers restocking while we were shopping and they were very helpful.

I’m Haitian and from Miami. It’s so rewarding to go to a market that’s similar to Florida and have Caribbeans products. The staff are knowledgeable. They have fresh fruits and veggies. Every isle is dictated to a culture. I usually get my products from the Jamaican isle since we kinda cook the same.

Nice place and lots of options for everyone; and prices were fair. First time visitor, but will stick with regular seafood markets for my frequent seafood purchases. Seafood buyers be aware. Ask to smell your seafood to confirm it's fresh. On my first visit to this location, purchased some conch meat and shrimp to make conch/shrimp salad. When I selected the portion I wanted, the guy picked the meat from the front that was half thawed. I usually ask for the frozen meat at the back as it usually still completely frozen, but was distracted by the folks digging through the crab leg pile. Once at home and Immediately upon opening the first bag, the conch had a foul smell as if it was spoiled. Once I opened the second bag, it was definitely spoiled. I checked the head on shrimp and they were fresh. I was heading out of town for Thanksgiving and figured I'd handle the issue when I got back. I called today just to confirm and was told that I should have called the same day, next day at the latest. My first time here and I wasn't aware of this requirement. Although I froze everything as is, original packaging, they didn't stand behind their product. All of this to say, CHECK YOUR SEAFOODS for freshness prior to leaving the store . Wasted $25 of my hard earned money. I ended up making shrimp salad, will wait for my next visit to Miami to get some fresher conch.

I only come here for select items. Some fresh veggies/fruit and prepackaged items only. Judging by the smell alone I would never ever do full blown shopping here. Especially not any meat. If you do I’d assume you like to live life on the edge. You’ve been warned.

My trip there was a disaster. I got there at 730 pm, with the intention of buying fish ,only to be told that they had stopped selling fish. I was not in the least bit amused, as I had driven some distance to get there as I knew that this business closes at 9pm. I would prefer to travel to Savannah, rather than visiting this place again !!

Go there for what you need or want. They have a great variety of products. However, pack your patience. The customer service is not even close to good. Other locations do a great job with customer service. This location needs work.

Hello! I'm a regular at this place and I always make it a point to check out what's on sale. They used to have some awesome prices before inflation came crashing in. But hey, it's still a great place to shop and find some good deals!

I purchased a whole pork country ham from this store in Morrow, GA. I was having some family over for dinner. Went home cooked it for hours to find out after I cut it that this was not a ham. Called the store to advise was told to call back the next day. Went back the next day with the meat which was white inside. The manager stated they are not responsible for cooked meat. Not to mention that the manager looked at it said give him half of his money back & walked off. How in the hell would I have known it wasn’t a ham, the label said ham, it looked like a ham ( only difference was the shank looked a little different), my receipt said it was a ham. In all honesty I can’t even tell you what kind of meat it was because it was a taste that I’ve never tasted before. He offered me half of my money back which was ridiculous, I was livid at this point. I asked 3 other shoppers & the black lady they had working there, please tell me this a ham. They all stated NO, ham meat isn’t white. I was so mad & disappointed that I didn’t even take a picture of the ham. This is how they treat you here. They give you anything & just take your money. I will NEVER shop here again!

Great multicultural market! So many different fruits, vegetables, dry goods, fish... you name it and they probably have it! I want to try all the different foods! Seriously, the selection is massive. And there's a fish market in the back of the store - smells fishy, but it's a fish market! The kids like to look at the live catfish and tilapia in tanks. There are live crabs, crawdads, and lobsters. And the employees we've encountered are very friendly. I definitely recommend Nam Dae Mun!

We have been getting scammed by the seafood department at Nam Dae Mun. I went on Sunday morning, September 3rd to purchase fresh shrimp to make a seafood salad. The sign said USA Wild Caught, 8.99 per pound. As I was waiting, another worker came and placed several bags of frozen shrimp in the slot. My curiosity lead me to look at the bags. The bags said "product of India". I asked the worker why did the sign say USA Wild Caught but the bags are saying product of India. He said " we don't have anymore". I asked him what type shrimp he had that he was going to mix the ones from the bag with, he said "Farm raised". So I am wondering were there ever any USA Wild Caught shrimp ever sold yet the sign clearly states USA Wild Caught , 8.99 per pound. Be careful when buying seafood from Nam Dae Mun because the origin may not be what the sign is saying . Some customers prefer seafood from the US. I left so I can say whether or not the sign was changed to note that the shrimps sold were not in fact USA Wild Caught.
