“After touring Mount Vernon we decided to have a late lunch. The Inn was busy and we didn't have a reservation so we put our name on the wait list and walked around the adjacent gift shop. We were accommodated in about a half hour. The dining room we were in was very nice and my husband ordered a green tomato BLT sandwich and I ordered a macaroni and cheese skillet ( actually an appetizer). As we both asked for water, the waiter placed a glass bottle with a top that snapped closed on our table and replenished it with another bottle when it was almost empty. He enjoyed his sandwich that came with homemade potato chips and my choice was a rich and very cheesey baked mac and cheese with toasted breadcrumbs. It was delicious but I just couldn't finish it! It was a nice experience. ”
