“Dr. Scott and his assistant Brittany were both a pleasure to work with. They were pleasant and answered all of my many questions as a new customer. They also made my dog feel comfortable during the examination and were kind to her. This is the kind of service I was looking for in a new vet having recently moved to Gainesville.This is an update (1.17.23) on my previous review. My last two encounters at Gainesville Veterinary Hospital have been with Dr. Brothers and her assistant Amelia. Both of them are a joy to work with. They obviously have a love of dogs as demonstrated by their interaction with my dog. It is comforting to go to a vet's office where you have every reason to believe the people there love your dog almost as much as you do. I am especially pleased with the reception and care Bailey and I have received there. I would whole-heartedly recommend anyone searching for a veterinary clinic to strongly consider going to Gainesville Veterinary Hospital.2/22/24 update. My dog got away one evening (my fault because I left the garage door open before putting her harness and lead on). She was gone for about 3 hours before coming back. She had evidently gotten into something that scratched her nose and below her eye. I cleaned her up as best I could and put some Neosporene on her that night. In the morning I looked at her eye and was afraid she might have scratched it also. I called GVH and spoke with Kaitlin who went out of her way to get Bailey seen by Dr. Brothers that day. Long story short, Bailey’s eye wasn’t scratched and Dr. Brothers gave me an oral antibiotic by mouth and cream to treat her eye and scratches. Kudos to Kaitlin, Dr. Brothers and GVH for taking care of my four-legged best friend!!”
“Dr. Weaver and the tech were wonderful. They took great care of our injured boy and were very compassionate. It’s rare that you find people so dedicated to their calling, but not at this office. They are all fantastic and we wouldn't bring our pups anywhere else.”

“The staff was very friendly. The girl at the front desk was sweet and patient with me as I had forgotten my wallet and entered my card information manually. The staff came out to express a concern about my pup's temperature being a bit high and wanted to ensure there was no fever, so they kept her a little longer to cool down. As this is a low-cost clinic, you don't actually go in and sit with a veterinarian, but wait outside as your pet receives their shots/check-up. Definitely recommend this place.”
“Dr. Rodriguez has been our vet for 8 yrs. We drive from Ellijay after she started Hemlock because she is awesome and our dogs love going to see her. We have seen Dr. Wallin several times and she is great as well!”
“I can not say enough about the Doctors and staff at Lance Animal Hospital. Their love and care for my dogs and me is unmatched and priceless. My dogs are my life, and not only do they treat them as if they would their own dogs, but they treat me with the care and love of a friend or family. I have 6 dogs(they also saw my last 2 dogs no longer with us) and drive an hour plus one way for each visit. Absolutely worth every mile! Everyone over the years has been so great to us, but a special thank you to Doctor Lance, Jill, Tonya, Denise, Tiffany, Heather and Davorin. I deal with those folks the most, but have great experiences with everyone. Finding a good Veterinarian Office that you trust implicitly is like striking gold...and gold I struck with them 7 years ago. Always grateful and full of love! “What's with all the negative reviews? We go here for all kinds of all kinds of supplies; dog houses, fencing, feed, ducks and chickens. I have never not been helped by an associate, and in the case of feed one time, when the price was different at the register, the employee changed the price. I love this store, and the cumming location, and the employees at both stores are great!”
“Unfortunately, we started the day with me losing my dozer dog due to Pavo but Hope was so amazing and she knew I was trying to save dozer sister dog. They worked with me on a payment plan. They came out to my car showed me how to give a bubble and properly medicate I cannot say enough good things about everybody here especially Hope.”
