The guy who stocks the shelves is a great guy and deserves way more then what he get but the rest of them terrible. I walk in and the woman behind the counter was arguing with a lady about not taking her cash and then I get to the cash and card checkout and the girl tells me.it would be easier if I used my card ( probably can't count cash) I said oh I thought this was the cash and card checkout and point at the sign and then she tells me it's broken and I can't use cash. Put the stock boy in corporate and fire the rest and close this garbage store down.

We have the best dollar general store around here in newborn! Always friendly people working there, the shelves are always stocked and the store is neat and clean.
I go to a lot of dollar general stores every day for shopping orders on doordash and they will have stock carts everywhere so you can't get to what you need, most shelves aren't even stocked (cuz it's all sitting in those stock carts) and every isle is a mess.
⭐ ✨ ⭐ This store definitely stands above the rest! ⭐ ✨ ⭐
(Wish I got orders all the way out here for this store but is outside of the Covington zone for work)

This is the closest DG to my home and absolutely the one I avoid as much as possible. The manager with the funky ponytail is very unfriendly and rude. There is absolutely no customer service, it’s almost like you HAVE to be socially awkward to work in that location. No one that has ever worked in there has ever been helpful or nice. Not to mention they are the most expensive DG in the Covington area.

I shop this store only because its convenient! If I lived closer to the Dollar General on HWY11 I'd much rather shop there! The Newborn location Is ALWAYS A HUGE MESS every time I go in, the isles are ALWAYS blocked and hard to walk through, the Staff lies about their sales, and most of the time severely understaffed ( although today when i was there there were 4 staff members in the store and when I got in line with 5 people ahead of me there was no one at the register... someone had to yell for someone to come up.) Also only 1 of the employees at this location are friendly!!! I ALWAYS have problems with the older lady who works there... she's ALWAYS VERY SLOW, and very rude!

Always out of certain items no matter what time of the day. You can never park close because the employees take up the parking at the door including managers.
