Very terrible customer service. Went to check out with a lady standing right there at the cash register. And she informed me it was self check out only. I'm not an employee and I never use self check out anywhere I go. What's the point of having somebody standing at a register if she can't do a job.

What a disaster of a store! Shelves and endcaps were so disorganized. There are a lot of random things thrown and left all over the place. Carts with merchandise unattended and in the way. There are so many items with no prices, employees playing with their phones and not paying attention to customers, no greeting when walking in or out... very disappointing experience. It was my first time going to a Five Below and probably my last one.

Writing as a former cooperate representative. Disclaimer: I do not work for this establishment anymore. I was very displeased with my last two visits to this locations due to lack of care. First thing one will notice as they walk in is the large wall of hazardous boxes stacked on two u-boats. The first visit there were two employees- one manager one employee on the clock. Both were on their phones- in front of cameras. Was not greeted, was not spoken to, just squeezed my way through the disaster. I understand the holiday rush but it was very evident this store had not been properly attended to and the service had dropped. My second visit was a slight better. There was a nice lady at front with beautiful white teeth who greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. I met another employee in the back, was a guy with glasses and a black zip up on who also asked if I needed help. I asked him about the price of a product but he redirected me to the lady with the pearly white teeth and asked me to ask her. I did just that since the price of the other product was incorrectly marked 3 for 25. The lady told me she could not redeem this- which goes against any company policy the store has ever held in my years working there. If the price was marked at that price, it is to be redeemed as marked. She told me instinctively, without letting me finish asking my question, with a stern “no ma’am” and explained she could not redeem the price marked. I let this incident go because I already knew that was a deal five below would never have on have tables. I then continued shopping in the establishment when I found the blanket I was looking for. It was opened out of the package and they had put it on a hanger. I figured I would go ahead and get it versus getting the cheaper $5.55 blankets . I knew the rules of opened products- they would redeem a coupon if asked. I asked the lady with the pretty teeth for a discount on the coupon and she cut me off again and said it was against company policy to redeem a fed punt on a product that’s missing it’s original packaging and told me there was nothing wrong with the blanket that it was simply just missing a ribbon and a hardboard placement. I rationalized the situation at hand- had the blanket been for myself then I would of been fine and bought it. Now, the blanket was a gift for a friend and I would have to remake the packaging and add my own bow to it. She told me if it’s the last one then that’s it there are no more. I was extremely displeased with this and asked her when the policy changed- without giving out my identity or past history with five below. She told me these rules have always been in place and the only way to get a discount on a product is if the company sends you one which is extremely incorrect. Now to another issue outside of the disastrous store; the trash out back. I’m suprised the city has not been on top of them about this. There is so much trash out in the road and all over the place. I understand there are issues with garbage companies here and there but I don’t see any reason why no one would of taken the time to correct this issue wether it’s on the stores behalf of because of dumpster divers. No sympathy for the dryer sore this puts on the business and the surrounding ecosystem. Now, to anyone who read this throughout- know the rules. If you bought something such as a charger or a set of headphones for your kids, you 100% can exchange them with or without the receipt. You can get discounts on broken or damaged products- which if anyone payed attention to the giant binder located in the office they would know this includes damages packaging. This is even mentioned on their zebra handheld when they do damages- “damaged packaging”. I hope this store will clean up after themselves and Thankyou to the big in the back of the store that showed more care than any other employee I have met here lately.

Lots of items to choose from. It was nice to walk into a store, and the cashier greeted you and thanked you for coming when leaving.

Store now have self checked out, but only 3 units. One was out of service, so cause a delay to check out. I find the units are too close to each other, feel space is crunch.

The manager on duty had a nasty attitude. I returned some items and exchanged it for something else that was $2.25 & kept asking the cashier did I pay for it like I’m not about to steal anything that’s $2.25 I don’t steal at all.. Her approach and demeanor was definitely rude then gossiping about other people while it’s customers around
