Needed a set of bass guitar stings and being from out of town, this little shop was the go to. Had some nice music instruments and equipment.

We went into the store to purchase some vinyls. It is a cool little eclectic store. They have many used albums and some new ones. They also sell string instruments such as guitars, bass, and banjos. You can also get them repaired there. On top of that they build, customize and repair skateboards too.
Vinylyte Records and Skateshop is a locally owned new and used vinyl shop and full service skateshop. We’re Ortofon Cartridge and Pro-Ject turntable dealers. We carry a large assortment of skate decks and accessories. Skater/vinyl collector owned and operated! Our used vinyl bins are not “full” with filler type $2-$4 records. Our top bins contain the good stuff, clean and ready for your enjoyment. With over 20,000 records to browse, we have the largest inventory on the south side. If you don’t see it out, just ask!
For the skaters: we are a community skate shop carrying brands you ask for. Our owner skated from ‘88-‘02, so our knowledge is vast. We believe in skateboarding as one of the most socially important of all sports.
