“I meet them at the Covington Farmers market today. Bought cube steak and skirt steak. Cooked the cube steak for dinner at it was delicious. Very tender and flavorful. They have a repeat customer with me.”
“This place is a gem right beneath the surface. The food is absolutely fantastic. A wide variety of classic and authentic Mexican dishes with great prices (an important factor for a college student). The ambiance is intimate and it's nice to shop around the market in the same building as the restaurant.”
“Good, honest people and great service. Their work areas and coolers are always exceptionally clean. The pork sausage is always seasoned just right, holds its shape during cooking, and it doesn't shrink and melt into grease. We carry both beef and pork to Palmers and we have (for many years) been highly satisfied with the finished product. Cut is great, and the shrink wrapping helps preserve meats longer. We raise our own stock and this is the only meat processing business we use. We drive approximately 40 miles, but we would use Palmers if we had to drive triple that or more.”
