I have 2 serious problems with Dollar. First of all, their agents at the Boston airport overcharged me. I told him that I did not want LDW or premium roadside service (I have credit card and AAA to cover these) but he charged me anyway. When I questioned him about it, he said that they have a $700 hold on credit cards and my rental was paid for. Imagine my fury when I got home and reconciled my credit card statement. I sent an email to their "customer service" (such that it is) with this issue. They sent me a form letter telling me that I signed for the service and since I "enjoyed the benefit" that I was not entitled to a refund. Here is where this situation goes from bad to worse: they sent me another email (same exact email) but this time, they attached the rental agreement from someone else! I caution everyone to watch out for #budgetrental(I guess they're #Hertz now). They are liars, thieves, and are not protecting our information at all. They have not responded to my emails yet. I'm blowing up their social media posts and will NOT let this go. They owe me $500 and they need to tell me what they are going to do to protect my information.

Booked my rental two months ago only to be told that there is a seven hour delay on rental, that they had over booked AND I made paid in advance it didn’t matter. I learned my lesson only book with the major brands when it matters.

Was a day late due to flight delays. I had prepaid the whole amount. Not only did they not provide a car they kept the entire 10 days of prepayment.

I am very disappointed with the overall service. I had to wait almost 4 hours in line to actually speak to a front desk representative just to find out there were no cars available for my reservation. I will not be using their services ever again.

Doesn't accept Tap Payments, doesn't accept debit cards unless u have a round trip ticket. Know these things before u stand in line for 1 hour after your flight because they have 1 agent working

They charge you $9.99 of administration fee for every toll you drive by. This is insane. We drove from Miami to Atlanta. The total toll was $32 (according to them) and they charged us $199.80 with administration fees. Stay away from them!

They have the worse employees, lazy and don’t care about customers, Atlanta airport dollar gave me my worse experience, I made a reservation 3 months ago for 2 weeks for $600 from 5/22 to 6/5 cause my license expired on the 28th the lady didn’t want to give me a rental I called to make sure it wasn’t going to b a problem they told me once I have a passport ID it ok, she denied me service didn’t want to give me back my $600 and cost me $2900 in rental cars fees with other car rentals memorial weekend, dollar need to train there employees better it’s about customers welfare and well being

Waited 2 hrs at srq for a car because no one was operating a desk during busy spring break crazy. Then they over priced me with gas. Car had thousands of scratches and dents. Nightmare never again

I Did reserve car here two weeks ahead of my rental date using dollar rent a car site . Dollar rental also charged my credit card for the complete reservation . I did call up this location two weeks ahead and and front desk representative lady stated that if you have reservation after two weeks you should be good see you after two weeks . On the day of rental when I visited this location. The front desk lady was not yet all cooperative she straight away stated that they donot have any reservation , even when I have a email confirmation copy from dollar stating that that I have a reservation at this location She wanted me to call Dollar customer service representative . When I called customer service representative she did accept that my card was charged and she stated that they do see my reservation at that location . But Unfortunately the lady stated that this location didn’t have any vehicles and she started quoting me hefty price Of $800 To get it from a airport location .Please stay way from dollar rental a car they are going out of business . It is a pathetic experience . I wish I could have give a negative review .

The woman at the front was very rude and condescending. I would not recommend. The Hertz down the street was a lot more accomodating and helpful.

Had a vehicle reserved for over a week. Called to confirm before I made the effort and expense to get to this rental office. Was told on the phone no cars available. Needed the car for a one way rental. Rep said no number in my profile to notify me...how about the email? When asked to get a car from another Dollar she basically laughed. Was told the responsibility was mine to fix their grievous error leaving me unable to report to military duty on schedule. I rent cars frequently and never run into this problem. Apparently it is common for the rental company to upgrade or cover expense to rent from a competitors inventory. Good luck with Dollar. I won't ever rent from them again. BEWARE!
