⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A beautiful public space that deserves more gratitude than criticism.
I’ve seen a few low-star reviews about staff interactions, and honestly, I find them unfair. This library offers a free, clean, and modern facility for anyone who wants to read, study, or simply find a peaceful place to think — and that’s something we shouldn’t take for granted.
The Norcross Branch is bright, open, and thoughtfully designed — with private study rooms, creative children’s areas, and comfortable seating by the windows that make it easy to focus. Everything feels calm and cared for.
Staff members have always been courteous and professional when I’ve visited. They manage a busy public space while keeping it welcoming and safe, which isn’t easy work.
If you need a quiet retreat to learn, write, or reflect, this library is a wonderful gift to the community. Let’s appreciate it for what it is — a place built for everyone, maintained with effort, and offered freely.

Clean, generally quiet, comfortable, and full of lots of exciting things - podcast room, video game room, meeting space, etc. Great place to work from.

I come to diaper day at the norcross library every 3rd tues .Every visit there are kids running ,screaming hitiing each other throwing toys fighting , coloring on tables, tearing up books and kicking around soccer balls in the childrens area not to mention jumping on the furniture and eating and dropping their food and drink everywhere while the mothers are sitting around talking oblivious to whats going on around them.I bring one of my twin granddaughters when i come shes 8 months she sits quietly in my lap not crying or being a problem. When i go to the Duluth location they have order over their there is none of this type of behavior happening nor at the Snellville location. Why are the staff members allowing this location to be romper room on diaper day .Alot of the mothers hold places for their friends to come to the front of the line after they show up 15 min before they start giving out diapers .Thats not fair to the mothers that have been there for hours patiently waiting. Passing out numbers doesnt help at all unless they are numbered and you go in sequence.Maybe you need to have them line up outside like the other branches do so the kids can romp and play outside and stop disrupting the library. For the staff to stand around and watch this behavior and do nothing is sad.Norcross get it together If the mothers cant control their offspring then maybe the mothers should come or bring them to diaper day!

Drove for 48 minutes just to be told I can't check out a book because I don't live in that county... Unless I pay $40 ... This is criminal!!

This library is beautiful. The location is great. Free parking deck next door. It will definitely make you want to spend time there reading a book.

Great facility and location. Only problem is that the staff up front is so loud! Almost as if they forgot that they work at a library. If they could be quieter, it would be 5-star place. I feel that once people see the staff being loud, they also start disrespecting the place and go above the expected noise threshold of a library.
Aside from the noise, everything else is pretty good.

Nice location. Parking is in the parking garage.
I reserved their learning lab.
Looks like they offer homework help on certain days.
They have some cute areas with benches that would be perfect to eat outside.

One of the newer GCPL, it has plenty of natural light, and a great selection of books, as all GCPL. Plenty of study areas. Friendly staff.
