I honestly, and I can't stress this enough, have never used a worse product. There are so many limitations to this system that don't work for high volumes locations, or locations that have any volume. Like I'd rather use Micros (no one would rather use Micros). Save yourself the headache.

Complete ripoff!After trying hot sauce I would guess their programmer are in the 5th grade. The whole system reminds me of DOS from the 80s.After my free trial, amazingly they wouldn't refund my money.Out thousands of dollars.

Could barely keep the system running, but after months of trouble with their used equipment having previous owner information still stored and not getting deposits into my bank account from customers for several months, they straightened it out. Then I sold the business. They continued to withdraw fees for several months and have refused to return the fees which amounted to over $1000 until I paid for a stop payment to them. After several more months of complaining, I was emailed a form to end the business which I had already filled out months before and returned the equipment. Then they asked for the equipment to be returned. They have lousy customer service and I will have to file in small claims court to get my money back. Do not even consider doing business with this very crooked company that have no idea what they are doing. I would give zero starts if possible.

We gave hot sauce a try several months ago.We were lied to about the capabilities and funtions of this system. We decided to return the system as it had a trial period and we just couldn't use this product because it wasn't able to fulfill our needs.Months later we still haven't received our money back. They won't answer any emails.I would stay far away from this company if this is how they do business.Their software looks like a video game from the early 80s and not even close to being user friendly.Customer service is a joke.Here i sit 6 months later still waiting for my refund.I truly feel like I've been scammed out of my money.

Run far away from this pos system.Not user friendly, Severely outdated software and non existent customer service.I returned mine 6 months ago and I'm still waiting for my refund.

I've helped many a restaurant/bar owner out of an old system or out of Clover POS and others that didn't meet their needs like Harbortouch or Toast. Some companies put tons of money into marketing like Clover & Toast but have pathetic customer service. Thank you HotSauce for being a great solution to provide to my customers.I can be unbiased because I can choose to partner with many of these companies but I've been there where the merchant is calling me upset with the problems they are experiencing. That means I can't focus on generating more business but end up trying to fix their problems because of lack of support. With HotSauce POS not only can I focus on growing my business but my clients want the same system for their next business and are now a referral source. Do yourself a favor and don't fall for fancy marketing but rather go with a system and company that will have your back.

As a professional server, this is absolutely the worst point-of-sale system I have ever used. I would recommend Aloha, Micros, ONE POS, or one of the many other systems out there.
