My fiancé and I had a fantastic experience at this store. We were the only ones in the store at the time and the employees were very helpful and let us try on multiple different suits. Akandu was great to us and extremely professional in helping us find the right suit for our wedding day. We would definitely recommend him if you need help finding a wedding day suit!

2 stars because the associates are nice but never seem to have a clue about what’s going on. Spent $900 on a custom suit to find that the fabric had been discontinued for the wedding group I was in. We elected to get a navy fabric ordered that was at least close to matching. What I received was an almost black, almost wool suit. I brought this to their attention and wasn’t really given any sort of options for a resolution. The fabric marks up really easily and is likely a suit I just spent $900 on to use once (not even matching the rest of the groomsman) before I toss it in the donation bin. Apart from that, the fitting took over 2.5 hours and didn’t make me feel valued as a person spending $900 with them. I know I’m not the most expensive order, but I felt like a bother walking in there.

Micheal was super helpful through the whole process. I had gotten dumped by Savvi Formalwear after they closed their doors and Michael’s customer service and attention to detail to my problems were unmatched.

Needed a Tuxedo for an out of town event and just experienced the worst experience renting from Jos A Banks. The jacket was way too big and sleeves too long, the pants were 4 inches short, the shirt was too big and the sleeves too long. Even the shoes were the wrong size. I was hitting the road the day after the pick up date, and was to drop it off at the city I was going to. Thank goodness the tailor was there to hem the pants, and jacket sleeves, but there was no fixing a terrible suit. I would have asked for a refund but was hoping that somehow I could make it work.I own a tuxedo jacket, and had to use that with some dress slacks to make a hodge podge tux. The only piece from the rental that was useful was the vest, and it was marginal. This experience was a total waste of money. I cannot recommend renting a suit from them, and now I won't even consider buying one.

Thank goodness for the lady who provided service to me today because the male store manger had no parts of welcoming me into the store or speaking to the older gentleman who came in behind me and had to wait. As a store a manger there is absolutely no reason and no excuse. I’m truly disappointed.

Very rude management. I returned suits I bought online that didn’t fit. Manager acted put out and irritated at me for wanting to make a return. No customer service skills

Thank you Chris for everything!!I came into the store with my partner, having forgotten his suit for our friends wedding down to the very last minute. We were in the store this past Thursday for a wedding next Saturday. Very last minute. We didn’t know his size, what colors we wanted, anything. I just realized after I left my dress at the tailors, we didn’t have anything for him. I didn’t even have a picture of my dress with me. I just had a sample of a very very similar dress. However, Chris saved the day!! He gave us the best selection off the (by request) clearance rack. We were able to find out we loved a dark blue gray against his complexion. Chris styled it with a rich navy blue shirt that would accent my dress perfectly and a black tie to pull it all together. He looked so sharp in that suit. I honestly loved the jacket so much, I hope he wears it with jeans so it can use it more often. Not only did he happen to find a perfect fit with a narrow selection, he knew exactly what needed to be tailored so the whole suit would be ready in time for the event! He made the whole thing happen within a such a short window!! He got the suit to be done at the same day as my dress. That extra step of getting all of these little details done, made the impossible happen.Thank you so so much! My partner and I are looking forward to this event with so much more joy in our hearts. I cannot wait to pick up the suit and dance the night away at the wedding.

TLDR: I was verbally berated by an older male employee for simply trying on shirts in the dressing room. After trying on a few shirts in the fitting room, I was approached by an older male employee who advised me “we don’t open shirts to try on because there are shirts already open that you can try.” I then asked if I could try an open shirt in a size 17 34 slim fit and was advised “we don’t have that size open.” So, I asked if I could open a shirt in that size for me to try on (since there wasn’t one currently open), to which he replied “no”, and added “you can’t open up every shirt in the store” and further added “we don’t like cleaning up after our customers.” His rudeness was shocking for an employee in a customer-facing role and rendered my wife and I practically speechless. We couldn’t get out of there soon enough, and to be honest I’m not sure I’ll be going back to a Joseph A. Bank in the next 5 years.

Honestly such a frustrating experience. My fiance and I went to choose a suit for him and his groomsmen to wear on our wedding day. We choose a suit after help from a staff that clearly didn't want to be there (Seriously - We had to basically beg someone to help us and then they couldn't answer any basic questions we had). Well fast forward a few weeks - the groomsmen start to go try and get suits, apparently the suit we chose has been discontinued. Nobody thought to tell us this before we set up a group number, bought my fiance's suit and had it altered. We have had every single groomsmen call us when they go to the store to try and get the suit because the staff can't find our group number, can't find the suit name, or they aren't able to order their size so that have to get another cut of suit (since the one we ordered was discontinued).I am not normally one to leave bad reviews - But like I said this has been an extremely frustrating situation. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough, this on top has added unnecessary trouble. The first place my fiance and I both thought of to get suits for our groomsmen was Jos A Bank - Now I have told multiple friends, who are also brides, I don't recommend going here to get suits for their wedding because of this experience.

My fiancé and I went suit shopping here for our wedding. Tarrian Wade was our sale associate and she was extremely helpful. We got everything we needed and when we went back to try on the suit after alteration she checked to see if our items had gone on sale since first purchased. They did and we were able to save a nice amount of money.

Let's start with the good news. The staff here were friendly, polite and professional to me (apparently that's not the case judging by the other reviews). I bought a $300 suit, and they charged me $150 for tailoring. That is a bit steep. I've had a $600 suit *perfectly* tailored elsewhere for $50, and a $1200 suit *perfectly* tailored for $150. So it seems the going rate for tailoring seems to be roughly 10% the value of the suit, but they charged 50%. 2 weeks later, I came back to pick up the suit after tailoring, and to be honest I don't think it had been tailored at all. It still feels like it fits the same way it did originally, and the tailor's crayon markings are still all over the suit. Bottom line: I'll probably take my suit business elsewhere, and will definitely take my tailoring elsewhere.

Walked in, tried on two suits with a salesman. Asked to try a different color for a third option, was told by the salesman (don't remember his name, but he has a sling on his arm) that "he'd be happy to help me if I was actually buying a suit but there are alot of things to do around the store". For sure, bro. Went to Men's Wearhouse, bought suit and an extra jacket same day.
