it took several diagnosis, dead battery, and a tow for no one figured out that my alternator was too small to perform with my vehicle.? But they did! Once I am able to get the correct alternator for my vehicle I plan to have them to replace and install it...

The service manager at the repair shop where I've taken my 2002 Trans Am for years and spent thousands of dollars on repairs let me know they didn't want to bother trying to find out why the turn signals on the driver's side kept blowing bulbs. Electrical problems are tricky, I get it. He recommended that I take it to a GM dealership. I called one & was told it would cost $136 per hour to diagnose with authorization for 3 hours plus cost of repairs. I decided to research shops specializing in electrical problems before committing and came across Northeast. I am so glad I did! They found the problem and fixed it for less than I would have paid for 2 hours of diagnosis at the dealership. As it turns out the problem was a shoddy repair done by the other shop a while back. I'll be back!

I have used these guys over an 8 years on 5 different vehicles. They've done repairs on time, and even put me in front of others once or twice when my work schedule demanded it. The one time that they did mess up a repair, they stood behind it and fixed it promptly for no charge without debate. That's the true test of a business as everyone makes mistakes. As far as their parts prices, if the other reviewers think that they are paying too much for the parts, maybe they should review how much parts are from dealers and buy their own. Tran's buys parts from dealers to keep your car OEM, not Autozone, They give you the option of bringing your own parts if you wish. I'm taking away one star and it would only be half of a star if I could do it for communication skills as English is a second language to all here and the front desk guy is the only one moderately proficient in English. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to get a point across or understand their's. That said, I pretty much trust them and that is tough to find in today's auto shops as a recent study found that up to one third of all repair shops will try to rip you off. There is a good reason why they always have all of their bays filled with work, since they are straight up.
